That's what I'm sayin'. How would Mahone retweet his own tweet that was retweeted by Keith Marshall?

We haven't had a consensus 5-star RB since I can remember. James Aldridge was according to scout, but I don't think he was according to rivals and the other sites.

If Marshall commits to ND, we're going streaking.

Aldridge was a 5:s: according to both Rivals and Scout, which were the only two active recruiting services at the time.

Aldridge was a 5:s: everywhere. Injuries and foolishness freshman year really cost him. James Aldridge - Yahoo! Sports

The kid can fly, great back and would love to have him. I would like to see how this kid does when touched. His legs look super super little. I am sure, from his athletic abilities, he is decently strong but does he have a chance against an average LB? I would almost say I know the answer on a DL.

Regardless ... I want him. Just not something I have seen mentioned and wondered if anyone had any insight on this.

Very good question,

a la Darren Mcfadden...

I would think that IF we land this kid, that the staff would know how to help him develop his "weaknesses".

Still, a very good observation

"Crowell's long-term future with Georgia"

Written by Mark Bradley of the Atlanta-Journal Consitution

Doesn't say a whole lot just that Crowell has almost lived up to his hype coming into this season but some weeks he shows up and others he's just a freshman........

have led some to wonder if he'll be a Bulldog long

If there is any legitmacy to what Bradley is saying then...

it gives credence to top running back's Keith Marshall's strong interest in the program.

Keith Marshall stays focused

Marshall was joined on the trip by offensive lineman John Theus from Jacksonville (Fla.) Bolles. Theus committed to Georgia in July, but like Marshall, he had concerns about Richt's job security so he wanted a backup plan in case things blew up in Athens. Notre Dame made sense.

Yet as the two spent time together in South Bend, the conversation often ended up back in the South.

"We talked about a lot," Marshall said. "He was telling me about Georgia and why he committed to Georgia."

I was glad he did an OV to see what Notre Dame is about. He seems to be a good kid, taking his time in committing but just seems he is Georgia's to lose.

We all know/knew how tough it would be to get him away from Georgia. Cierre Wood, GAIII, Mahone, Cam McDaniel, Cam, we still have a solid backfield, IMO.

Word.

With GAIII looking so good early, Cierre back for another year, and the rest you mention, I don't feel as scared about RB as I did to begin the season. I feel pretty secure actually. Keith would be awesome but he isn't a deal breaker like I thought he may be.

It seems if it wasn't GA, we would really be in it. I suppose you still never know.
