He's certainly worth signing for one year. From all reports, he was pretty locked in with the Pats, it was just more a matter of they only never suit up 5 WRs on game day really and Edelman/Amendola/Hogan/Mitchell all knew the playbook better by the time playoffs were there. He was great in week 17 when Mitchell was injured. Hopefully either the search for a big contract and the DUI/jail experience will help him have a big 2017 season.

I'm not sure which is better for a person with a drinking problem...sunny and warm or freakin Arctic Cold...but getting paid is good.

Not until he has a moment of clarity. Too many get treatment, fall back, get treatment, fall back and repeat the cycle until something happens that provides that moment where they wake up.

You can't fix something you don't wont too. You continue to hang with the same people and do the same things you will continue to have the same issues.

Talk about a huge disappointment.

My cousin tried to help him early on when he was at ND. Wouldn't accept help then, doesn't appear to accept help now. He needs to admit he has a problem, this could end in disaster.

There is alcohol in Kombucha. Not a lot, but I've felt a little somethin somethin after I had about 6 in two hours. Don't rush to your assumptions and judgements, friends.

But this is a message board. It's the off-season, drama is needed.

...benefit of the doubt is not something Mike has earned...it is also the enemy to recovery IMHO. If the league puts player health as a priority, they'll step in here and suspend Mike for at least a season.
