Hello my friend. Yes, you would have loved several of those rides. Most of the other places beyond the post-ND trip, I took Mom after Dad died too young. It was a yearly treat for several years. Sometimes, if it was Canada or US, I took the wider family.
Mom is now in an eldercare facility in Wheeling; just too frail for us to have at my brother's home. Adjustment is rough psychologically. I'm trying to visit most days of the week for c.3hours. That is still rough duty, and I know it clobbers my own health. My sister-in-law went wildly diabetic over the stress. Once I get the hang of this new situation, I'm hoping that all of us get healthier... Lord willing.
