I feel like I'm the only one who gets it.... lol.
I was a little surprised! You've been fairly pragmatic and very football savvy, so (and this is apparently where our opinions diverge) I expected a little better outlook.

It was kind of like, "ouch, that's what you think of our program".

I watched the NCG with my RTR all day long close friend and we had a meeting of the minds, candid smoke before the game and without prognasticating about the results of the game, we came to the consensus that Notre Dame isn't at an Alabama level yet as a program, but is trending upward.

Your prediction would be a regression, and a big one at that. I guess that's what was so surprising to me. #trendingupward
Thanks. Haven't seen Caleb since his departure. If I see him or his dad anytime soon I will see what their thoughts are on it. Hope he gets better and makes it through without hurting his back. Last I did hear was he had two discs that were the problem. We will see I guess.
Just what I copied basically. Someone was asking about Caleb's medical status and if it was legit I think. Whiskey repped you, linking to your post about it, saying you were a credible poster so far and stated that the medical status was legit (Not a move to free up a scholarship basically).
I am a teacher and worked through college, in part, working for a low income grocery chain... The happy, ‘help people' liberal types should be forced to work in those arenas in my opinion if they are to vote to continue to increase the welfare state…

The fraud is so over the top and school administers and unions reps and store management WANT the fraud, it’s more money in their pocket… Maddening when you consider how much waste could be cut out right there… much of it DOES NOT help people… only further enable their sloth.

End. Rant.
Lol, thanks for the reps. If I were BC's bag man I would've been fired long ago! I'm actually unhappy with BC at the moment. They passed on offering two players from the HS I coach at and took, IMO, lesser talents instead. Of course I'm not biased at all :)

Unfortunately, no one here cares about college football, let alone BC football. I went to last year's ND-BC game in Chestnut Hill and the stadium was 75% ND fans.
...and one another's teams too!
I don't post much anymore...but I'm always around...you're the classiest Bama fan we've had come around.
Yeah, it's hard for some fans to take the <insert home team colors here> colored glasses off sometimes. Some people enjoy baiting opposing fans into a flame war to see them get the boot. I'd rather it stay civil if they're contributing worthwhile conversation, it adds flavor. I've had a hard time biting my tongue on Buckeye Planet in the past. Buckeyes really hate the Irish for whatever reason, despite the fact that we rarely play each other. We have common enemies, and most of the kids we take out of their back yard are from Catholic high schools or from the Cinci area.
no worries dude! I blame camera's on cell phones for this Dee Liner business, if this technology didnt exist everything would be fine haha! Roll on the start of the season man, cant get here soon enough!

Ya, I used to live in Montgomery and Biloxi so I have a pretty good idea of what I am dealing with when I get into conversations like that.

In fact just the other day out here in socal, an Auburn alumn's wife told me that Auburn's academics are just as good as Notre Dame's. While I would expect to hear something like that deep in SEC country, hearing it in California where there are universities like UCLA, USC, Cal, Stanford, etc, etc, etc, etc I was pretty shocked. I guess you can take the person out of the area but you can't take the mentality out of the person. Her husband, who was the Auburn grad just laughed and said something to the effect of, "thanks sweetie, but that's really not true."

Thanks for the reps and your contributions around here. It's nice to have a level headed SEC fan around.
Yup, looks like Rammer got the ban stick. That makes two non-Irish fans in the last two days, ant80 being the other. Ant80 has been here awhile though, so didn't see that one coming. fwiw, wooly probably baited Rammer into the debate, and he took the bait and went overboard in his defense of his university. Happens to any of us, and it's understandable. Buckeyes on BuckeyePlanet try it with me all the time when we get into a discussion about the Irish. I've just learned to back down, stay conservative with my words, and concede some points while sticking by others.

Not many non-Irish fans around right now, and I think they add to discussions personally (At least the ones that aren't trolls from the start). Hopefully when the season starts some decent posters from other teams make their way here. They usually do.
Agree. People are entitled to their opinions and I try to respect that. But when you try to force your opinions and beliefs systems on me then I have issues with that.
I have long thought ‘politically correct’ and’ tolerance’ were both just covers that work together to silence left wing political opposition...
U post **** I like I rep ya! LOL. You are a good poster (for coming from an opposing fan base) so stick around brotha!!
