Probably just saying that because he was talking to ISD. I find it interesting he didn't actually say who was in his top 5 or if ND was in it. It's still really UF and all the others right now. If he goes back to UF with his mom he could commit soon.

You guys need to cut CADomer a little slack. He evidently got the top 5 list from some place that must be fairly popular if that false information was prevalent enough for Alex and ISD to respond to. I agree that Florida probably does lead.

No. He said it came from a guy he knew who was connected to PA recruits. He didn't name a website...he literally said it was a guy he knew.

Looking back at the old posts I admit that I can't tell for sure what he meant. I guess I took it that he was getting his "inside info" that Florida is the heavy favorite from his source, not necessarily the top 5. I can't tell if he's attributing the top 5 to this person as well. To me it doesn't seem worth flaming a guy for saying what he's heard.

Actually it was stronger that that. He said it was a WELL connected guy with a LOT of the recruits in PA that he knew that TOLD him.

Planning to attend a PSU practice next. Still deciding which spring game he will go to. If he is visiting there during the week for a practice I don't think he will turn around and visit again for their spring game.

After he visits PSU for the practice that will be 3 trips he has taken there. He has taken 2 trips to OSU so far and 1 to ND. Needless to say if he doesn't come to our spring game we are likely out of it.

What GITF posted was a direct quote, so the PSU site didn't screw up. It sounds like something was misinterpreted somewhere along the way though. I think last week or whenever the bogus top 5 list came out, someone asked him a question and the answer included UF, OSU, PSU, Stanford and USC, and the questioner thought that meant those schools were his top 5. In the conversation that was the basis of today's PSU 247 piece, Anzalone clarified that he didn't have a top 5 and that the schools he was interested in are "the schools that I've said, Florida, Ohio State, Penn State, USC and Stanford, then a couple others like Notre Dame are still in there." So if my theory is correct the quote GITF posted isn't as bad as it originally sounded; in fact you could argue it's good news because Anzalone clarified that ND is definitely one of his top schools.

JSapp hasn't been able to confirm this yet, but he does think that Anzalone is leaning toward OSU or maybe even PSU again. He says he'll provide another update when Anzalone's plans are finalized.
