It's absolutely NOT harsh. Did you see his second quote? He did that to see the reaction of Notre Dame fans, and went on to say it showed our "true colors."
This kid is a flat out punk, that already punked us during recruiting.
Can't believe anyone could defend this kid.

This is just so comical to me. I can't imagine a hockey player or a soccer player or a lacrosse player ever doing something this immature. Where does a kid get all this ego and immaturity from? He hasn't even played a down yet in college.

All I will say is team chemistry > an one player's individual talents... and while you can't judge someone on an isolated incident, he has shown a pattern of behavior trending towards narcissism. Hard to imagine him having a great career... that kind of attitude rarely works for anyone who's not a WR or QB... and even then the personal feats might be great but the team feats usually suffer.
