Sapp thinks its between Notre Dame and Arkansas. Arizona out because they didn't visit and Carolina out because they didn't really look into what sanctions may be coming, meaning they weren't seriously considering them.

Yeah but to see that tweet I would have to see things about Texas and Oregon state too which is annoying. And just saying Kansas I would overlook it. I am not haha

Good stuff Johnny I couldn't stop laughing! In Jersey's defense, I'm quite the pessimist myself. God made pessimists such as Jersey and me, "so the Irish don't conquer the world". I mostly stay positive and hopeful about ND, until we lose a game, or we lose a recruit.(I think we can all remember my Taylor Decker meltdown). So in the morning, I shall hear the news of Davonte Neal announcing for Notre Dame or the razorbacks. If he announces for the Hogs, it will surely alter my mood for at least a week. Stay Irish.... stay strong... Davonte!

I didn't hear the first hour of the Bill King radio program but he had Lou Somogyi from Blue & Gold on the program talking about Davonte Neal and Mike Brey.

Bill thinks it will be ND or Arizona
Lou Somogyi thinks it will be ND or Arkansas

I believe JC Shurburtt has been thinking ND or UNC

I've never seen such a wide range of opinions of who the major players are from the recruiting experts. The only thing that they all agree on that gives me a little more hope is that ND is a major player. I think all of the recruiting experts are saying it is between ND and School X.

I guess the coaches don't know yet.

"He's going to start making the calls at 8:30 a.m. (MST)," Luke continued. "He decided to let all the schools know the morning of the announcement and he'll inform them one by one until he reaches the school that he'll be attending."

With the announcement beginning at 9 a.m., the school's band will perform and there will be speakers prior to Davonte stepping to the podium to talk about each school and ultimately make his choice be known.

Neal slept on it, revisited the decision, discussed it with his family some more, and chose to stick with it.

“It came down to what’s best for me academically and also in regards to a social life, because you know you have to be social in college,” Neal says.

“I talked to all the coaches from my top four and I just felt it by talking to this specific coach that this was the school for me just because of the respect level that they have for me and my family.

“He doesn’t know, not yet. I’ll probably call him 30 minutes before my conference tomorrow and let him know that I’ll be attending his school.”
