That's IF he commits. We told him IF he wants to come we won't take one in this class or the next. If he doesn't want to commit soon, there is no way you turn down a top 5 TE right now for a maybe shot at a top 5 TE in the next year.

I don't think anybody is doubting Welch. He is more than solid, but more high 4 star TEs don't hurt.
