Garrett is so removed from reality, he really believes that everyone wants to be a trojan. Garrett has been in that position for so long, that you know that he shares the same feelings and thoughts of alot of alumni.

I agree there was too much drama and hype for Henderson's recruiting, but I don't fault him at all for leaving. He held out hoping for some certainty about the sanctions that didn't come until later. I'm glad USC is releasing him unconditionally--he shouldn't be penalized for believing Kiffin and the staff (although nobody here is really surprised at the severity of the sanctions). I don't think this whole thing makes Seantrel a team cancer--just rightfully cautious. USC was the place he wanted to go if it was as advertised--it wasn't.

I just can't blame the kid as much as I would like to--it isn't a Terrell Pryor situation.

The reports I read only noted the catchall "team rules" violation.

Not sure the exact extent of what went down. Would not suprise me in the least considering the lack of discipline and the fact that they were getting it handed to them. Im sure more will come out but I also like what Golden has done here. Let these guys know up front that things will be different.

While Floyd screwed up royally, he's still a member of the university. Some of the digs at Floyd are really harsh. Has no one else here made an incredibly stupid decision when they were 15-21? I sure did, but everyone is on their moral high horse today. Mike deserves whatever is coming, but he doesn't deserve all the verbal bashing by posters on here.

i'm as disappointed as the next guy, but don't abandon him. coupling the issues of his arrest on the team and his social reputation is dangerous. i might show a likelihood of an alcohol problem, but i'm not too concerned about rumors on campus that he's a jerk.
