Someone on the staff is seeing something special here that many other schools are not. No VT offer doesn't shock me, because as their staff told me, they only offer a player from a program that they know, or, more rarely, a player who initiates a contact with them from his side. But you wonder a little about nothing from say Clemson. Spurrier IS there however.

Nevertheless this guy is under a lot of radars apparently. Is he a taller but not quite as fast Ben Councell?? It would be good to hear more about him.

I believe this kid was pretty much off the radar from major BCS schools but has really impressed a lot of scouts and is really coming on string. We are catching on early because there will surely be more BCS schools to offer

Tried to snoop the net a bit on this fellow. As of late April he had zero offers. Then NCState popped followed by ECU and several others came in. ND showed up late, and Florida is apparently now interested too. [Is Charlie reading Kelly's lists??]

He is an athlete [~39" vertical] who is a decent but not elite basketball player [mainly a rebounder] and a very fast shuttle. Schools seem to be looking at him as a project at 4-3 DE, and, I'd guess, we as a OLB. Most of the citations are listing him at 6'7". [so probably 6'6" is correct].

He is currently transferring high schools so it could be that his new coach is better known and has gotten the word out. As the coach said: "recruiters are like high school boys; once one of them dates a girl, they all want to date her".

Wow!!!! Skinnier Ishaq!! this guy is going to explode the more he plays and gets scouted. With that frame Coach Longo can put some weight on him and make him a prodigy.

Only highlight of him really is the first play shown. After that he you only see him kind of walk around on the field because in his mind the play is over. (I'd put that on the coaches.)

Can never have to many athletic 6'7" OLB. With offers from us, Florida, Georgia, Ga Tech, UNC, NCST, SCAR, Maryland and Va Tech the kid is tied with Ken Ekanem on my list for OLB after Ifeadi Odenigbo.
