What's the better line long term if he's out for a while: kick Knapp inside and start one of the young studs or leave everyone in place and play Terek?
I would guess playing Knapp inside and Lambert at OT. However, I doubt that would happen. They love Knapp at LT

I’m not sifting through 17 pages, but a couple
of questions:

- The obvious, what’s the QB battle looking like? Has one separated himself from the other or still neck and neck?
- Who is slated to fill in for Xavier Watts? Any thoughts on his replacement? Watts was a ball hawk.
- Has Ausberry secured a starting LB spot?
- Who will be RB 2? I’m on record for being a big Aneyas Williams supporter… just curious if he’s still neck and neck with Price? What about the other guys (excluding the obvious, J Love).
- nothing really new coming out about the QB battle. Pretty tight lipped and probably will be for the next two weeks, wouldn’t be surprised if starter isn’t announced until a week before Miami. But the general consensus on the board is that it’ll be Carr based on vibes and musings coming out of spring ball.

- I think the house money is on for starting free safety to be Stroman, the transfer from VT who was injured during spring ball. Buzz has been high on Tae Johnson the sophomore from Fort Wayne, who had two picks in the first practice. I think the consensus is that whoever comes out on top in that room will be pretty stellar.

- echoing what other have said on Ausberry, not sure he really has a spot. Bowen is an assured starter, and from there it’s a pretty heavy competition between Sneed, KVA, and Ausberry. It’s looking like Sneed might slide over to Kiser’s spot as Will, but I have to imagine all four of the top dogs will get significant playing time.

- RB 2 will almost 100% be Price, but reports from camp are that there’s going to be some two back sets this year. Not sure how that will play out personnel wise but pretty much every combination of the top 3 backs will give defenses headaches. Love has stated he’s excited to showcase his skills as a receiver this year so we’ll see how that turns out.

I like moving Love to the Slot at times and putting Price in the backfield, or even a two back set in the back as mentioned. Get the defense moving one way with Love, then reverse to Price the other way on the outside.

Kedren is an absolute beast. Had to dig my phone out when he got in against Purdue to see who it was cause I had honestly forgotten about him. We were 9th row, but good lord that dude is huge.
And he’s bigger Steiner and faster now. He does not tippy toe thru the holes. The D would eventually grow tired of trying to tackle him.

He's probably 22 this year...

Want to see something crazy? Miami has a transfer starter who is entering his **7th** year of college football. That shit needs to stop. IMO everyone should get 5-years-to-play-4 no exceptions.
Didn’t they have a TE last year that was like 28?

Utilize him like USC did with Bush.

And then someone asks for and doesn’t get an exemption sues and wins, of course. The side representing player freedom has won every case so far.

The guys at ISD always said Donovan was gonna be like Kurt but nastier. Jamie in particular has been talking recently about how good Hinish was rushing the passer during the playoff run last year.
lol there was a bit this week when they were trying to summarize his game and i think it was Jamie was said "He's a Hinish" and then moved on to something else

When it was suggested during his recruitment that he's smaller but meaner than his brother he became the most obvious "worth a scholarship" 3 star ever. There's a place on every ND football team for nasty dudes who have high motor and believe in the Notre Dame mythology with religious fervor.

I think he gets pushed around like Joe Schmidt against a good run team. PSU and OSU made it look easy. We needed Mills bad!
