When it was suggested during his recruitment that he's smaller but meaner than his brother he became the most obvious "worth a scholarship" 3 star ever. There's a place on every ND football team for nasty dudes who have high motor and believe in the Notre Dame mythology with religious fervor.

Like another Chris Zorich? I'm in!

Trying to remember all the recent TE injuries that were significant

Cole Kmet broken collarbone
Mitchell Evans torn ACL
Kevin Baumann 3 torn ACLs
Eli Raridon 2 torn ACLs
Cooper Flanagan torn Achilles

Am I forgetting any?

Podcast makes it sound like neither QB has looked good.
I think that’s been the takeaway from a lot of the beat. They’re trying to come off as overreacting but it’s hard to deny the fact that time is running out to prepare w/ the actual starter getting all the 1st team reps.

Heard on one pod that Carr tries to hit the big play too often vs taking what the defense gives him. Maybe he’s pressing b/c Minchey has proven formidable?

If you told me that ND is going to get blown out at least once this season, I’d put it on the inexperienced QB play imploding b/c every other phase of the current team is good enough to compete & win every game on their schedule.

Printer implying that maybe the team doesn’t “love” CJ as much as everyone has assumed. Though brief, he did pretty much say it. Discusses how much everyone loves Kenny and how he was one of them on the UTV trip.

22:00 minute mark.

Any injury update on Kedren Young?? Hearing it was an ACL that will keep him out for a good amount of time.

Ehhh yeah but it was pretty clear he was speculating.

I think its pretty simple explanation rather than a conspiracy. Carr has not looked as good as the coaches thought he would and Minchey has been steady and turned the ball over less.

I still think Carr wins the job by the end of next week.

This is an example of why I just can’t with the way Singer/Horka/On3 use Twitter

Come on, you gotta appreciate how he staggered those articles out over a four hour span and changed at least a few of the words in the posts…
I’m eagerly awaiting the “ND ball catcher Elijah Burress has turned heads with his impressive camp so far” tweet and article here in about 20 mins.

Great. That worked out well with Kizer/Zaire. Hope it’s just a rumor

I think it’s interesting that every QB battle around the country is closer than you would think in Week 2. Moore hasn’t solidified. Sayin and Kienholz will come down to the wire. Heck Pribula and Sam Horn. The list goes on. As practice access goes down, suddenly what reporters are hearing goes up. Just saying….

I'm sure everybody is playing their cards close to the vest. No need to give the other team you're opening with 3 extra weeks to prep. I would imagine most will wait until the week of to decide who's their guy. Just makes the most sense

If you believe what's reported in these QB battles then I have 50 bags of air to sale you😂😂 They claimed it was a battle with Rivers while I was in school and it was beyond laughable.

Yeah that original statement was really not how I took that. I took it as Prister noting it was never fully Carr’s role/team when you pull context in and he was still trying to earn it. O’Malley literally jumped in to counter it because Prister (self admittedly) was just speculating.
