My goodness, saddened to hear about your loss ACamp. Losing someone to suicide is always a strange and difficult process. My uncle was a big ND fan and had a devastating back injury for many years due to falling out of a tree stand. Took his life one day when the pain just became too much.I think (without seeing the full game yet) that our boys are getting hot at the right time, I think that continues,… finding ways.
Few things: my nephew who I was very close to committed suicide right around the time the game was originally scheduled. No signs anyone can think of, in shock. I’ve waited for so long through much hurt and frustration for a win like yesterday and when it finally happens I can’t even feel it. My point, count your blessings if your stress point is a college football game. I hope to get back to that state of life soon.
The obnoxious brother in law I have mentioned many times is still thriving even during funeral arrangements. Little Notre dame just won Texas the natty and ND is EASILY the worst team left. Texas is EASILY the best and there’s really no challenge left for the longhorns. Maybe now yall get why I vent on this guy over the years. Our nephew just died tragically and all he can talk about is Texas football and how much a favor the JV school from south bend did them, I can’t fathom being that out of touch with reality and having that much of an inability to read the room. I’m at the point where I want Texas to lose as much as ND to win but idk how much I’ll even get to watch. I only saw the last two minutes last night so,…
Anyway, thanks IE for just giving me a place to spew some stuff, I don’t really see anywhere else to unload in a healthy fashion so yeah, thanks. Go Irish and I hope to discuss our national championship squad going into spring,…..
Feeling your grief and praying for hope and healing for you and all those close to your nephew.
