Of course it was closed....Oddly enough the head coaches office was closed for random fan questions while I was there.

Not sure how this is "spilling the beans." ND talked about this at least 10 years ago when they installed the field turf in the first place.I never knew all of this up until now… College football podcast spills beans on Notre Dame Stadium
Burke golf course is drive-up parking on gameday, right? Meaning no pre-purchased pass required?
How much does it usually cost?
This man knows his shit.White Field or a house in the neighborhoods is the best bang for your buck
I’ll never do White Field again unless you leave early for the buses. I found parking just SE of the stadium is the easiest and the cost is $30-$50.
They haven't had it in years. It's now outside and has been renamed Trumpets at the Dome.Is the university canning trumpets under the dome?
I don’t want to get my hopes up for the N. Illinois game.
Also, I got an email about the Friday Night Bash before N. Illinois and Louisville. Is it worth it?
Oh, I know. The last time I went was the Georgia game in 2019. I remember it being cancelled due to Covid and then, due to the “stairs needing repair.” I just assumed they'd repair the stairs and move it back in. I guess they’ve officially scrapped it. A shame … one of my favorite traditions and doing it huddled around the Fr. Sorin statue is a far cry from under the dome. They haven't had it in years. They didn't cancel for Georgia, that would have been 2017. I got this video from the Trumpets Under the Dome, audio quality isn't great unfortunately. There were a ton of Georgia fans that showed up to check it out, which was kinda neat. I used to get videos of it when I could, but 2017 was the last year I got any video. They did seem to stop doing it sometime around the pandemic, something about structural integrity or something.Oh, I know. The last time I went was the Georgia game in 2019. I really miss it. Being outside on the steps is nice, but it just isn't the same. This was one of my favorite gameday traditions. It was tremendous energy and the sound in person was awesome.
Over the last few years, Ive found it easier to park south of campus. There are a lot of side streets that are free parking that are about a 10-15 minute walk to the stadium. Was just gifted tickets and a parking pass for Saturday, very excited to take my son to his first regular season game (he has been to the Blue and Gold game previously).
Searching the ND Gameday website, these parking lots/shuttles are set up in the most confusing way lol. I have parking for White Field, but apparently that's broken down into the Blue and Gold lots? Is there a way for me to know which lot my pass is for, or does it not matter once you get there?
Also, any tips for catching the shuttle? Have heard previously that it may be better to just pay and park closer despite having a White Field pass.
I park south of the stadium as well. I've parked in White Field a few times and it's a hassle IMO. Last time they waved us through and had us parking by the fire station. No shuttle and way too long of a walk for the Mrs.Was just gifted tickets and a parking pass for Saturday, very excited to take my son to his first regular season game (he has been to the Blue and Gold game previously).

If you get there early enough you can park in that first lot at Holy Cross, easy in and out and I believe $40.
I had a pass for the White Field for the Miami game this year. They had me park in the Gold Field and took the shuttle from there. It wasn't ideal, but getting out after the game was really fantastic. We had zero traffic.I usually do this, or will park across the street on the golf course for the extra $20.
Now that I’ve confirmed White Field and the shuttle are a pain, I’ll just make sure I’ve got plenty of cash for whatever I find lol
