Who will it be? A Jimmy Sexton client.

Lanning's buyout is $20M.

Mike Elko is 15-7 at Duke. Marcus Freeman 16-8 at Notre Dame.

If I'm Elko, I leverage this to get as much money from Duke as I can and stay the f*ck put.

Think I read a month back that Elmo’s buyout is 50MM, so it’s not even cheaper to take Duke’s coach over Oregon’s.

Then again A&M is paying Jimbo 75MM to fuck off so maybe money isn’t an issue.

375 oil wells can make that in one day. Over 160k wells in Texas. Pick your coach.

Go on their message boards and you'd assume it.
He’s a bigger name than Elko. He’s a better fit than Dabo. He’s more of a winner than Kiffin. And he doesn’t already have a better job like Lanning.
Plus A&M won’t care about any blowback.
If Urban wants to coach again, why wouldn’t it be him?

A Green New Deal and all the oil money goes away?

Don't know. Don't care.

Watched that game. Entertaining, but why only rush 3 and give the QB all the time in the world?

It was a lot like the end of the game where ND didn’t pressure McCord and he completed that first down throw near the goal line to set up the two series featuring 10 men on D. That’s exactly what went through my mind when Hurts threw that TD to Bond.

Will Reichard. With his 1st quarter field goal against Georgia tonight, he became the all-time FBS scoring leader, breaking the tie of 530 career points he shared coming into the game with former Navy QB Keenan Reynolds. Reichard finished with 9 points tonight and is now all alone atop the FBS scoring lists with 539 points with at least one more game to go. Not bad for a skinny kid who thinks salt is spicy! :D

Jimmy Rane making it rain.
Won't matter. The culture at Auburn, both with the fanbase and the warring factions of boosters, is self-defeating. Always has been. No amount of money will produce sustained success on The Plains. This is a program where the boosters HATE each other to the point that they'd rather burn everything down than have a rival booster faction in charge, and a fanbase who is infinitely more concerned with hoping a hated rival fails than their own team succeeds. Remember, this is a program that has only won 10 games in consecutive seasons once in their entire history. Let that sink in. Once. And that was 35 years ago. Sustained success is not in the cards for a program that consistently shoots itself in the foot and then uses that injured foot to step on its own dick.
