How much would signal stealing help oline play? They have had 3 years of pretty awesome o-line play which has to be extremely rare. Normal you have 1 year and it means you have to rebuild.

There is no way any of this is as egregious as Penn State, Baylor and Miami. This is bordering on the hilarious and bizarre with Michigan. There was nothing hilarious about what was going on at those other programs in those instances.

It is not at all. But it has a lot more to do with what happens on the field, and therefore the schools Michigan plays against, who will (or should) demand action.

According to five sources familiar with the call, a chorus of voices encouraged Petitti to take action against Michigan in a call that was described as both intense and emotional.

"Collectively, the coaches want the Big Ten to act -- right now," said a source familiar with the call. "What are we waiting on? We know what happened."

"People don't understand the seriousness of it," said another source. "How it truly impacted the game plan. To truly know if it's a run or a pass, people don't understand how much of an advantage that was for Michigan."

There was anger interspersed throughout the call, as one source described the sentiment as: "Every game they played is tainted."

"I don't think the Big Ten understood how upset everyone was," said another source. "The tenor of the call was asking the Big Ten to show leadership -- the conference and the presidents. An unprecedented violation of the rules would require unprecedented action from the Big Ten."

I just don't understand why he'd want to be on the sideline if it wasn't some sort of dry run and he was giving CMU MSUs signals. What does he gain? If anything it seems like it would be harder to film the sideline vs being in the stands.
Maybe to listen? 🤔

There it is. That is pretty much what I expected from the very beginning. Immense pressure from all those they cheated.

Absolutely sweet. Unprecedented in the history of college football? At least in our lives?

Edit: the MGoBlog reaction to this news needs to be seen to be believed:

We move one step closer to the goal:

I won't be satisfied with the resolution of this situation unless Brian from M Go Blog ends up in prison.

Evidently the call was scheduled for 90 minutes. After 30 minutes of discussing general business, Petitti asked Harbaugh to drop off the call. That's like being taken to the principals office by your teacher then asked to wait outside their office while the teacher and principal discussed your transgressions. lol

Yep, it's basically the scene in a Few Good Men when Demi Moore is asked to step outside so they could talk about her behind her back.

All kidding aside, I may have missed it in this long-ass thread, but who was CMU playing when "Mr. Inconspicuous" was caught using his go-go gadget sunglasses?

Picture of Connor Stallions sitting with Northwestern coaches coming soon.
Wouldn't be surprised if someone comes up with a pic of him sitting in a game plan meeting with an opposing team.
