I feel so bad for this him. The right guy at the wrong time.
Well someone tell Scott we need a couple of stacks for some WR recruits.Greatest representative of Notre Dame for $18 Billion Alex.
Who is Scott Malpass.
Well, Hesburgh was more that 30 years ago, so...
1. Ara Parseghian
2. Lou Holtz
3. Some really really really old guy named Knute
Still names that people mention regarding Notre Dame (sports)
Freeman has a long way to go to get into that group. I mean, let´s see if he moves the University like those guys did.
I think MF truly loves the University of Notre Dame. Nice to see him at the WBB in NC last night, he was present when Stiffler got hired as the baseball coach. I hope recruits notice his passion for the university.Has there ever been a better representative of the university than Freeman in the last 30 years? I’m not talking just sports. Tough to stack up against Father Ted but who else?

This. Seems to have been converted just like Elston was only in this case... he really converted.I think MF truly loves the University of Notre Dame. The university is lucky to have someone like MF, he is unique in his own way. If the fanbase could be more patient.This. Seems to have been converted just like Elston was only in this case... he really converted.

Had BK not left for LSU, I wonder if another program would've come calling for Freeman. He definitely puts in the work for recruiting (NIL is not his fault) and he connects well with the recruits.Woulda loved to have seen his recruiting victories had he been the coach from say 2019-2021.
He's the head coach of Cincy now if Swarbrick (under orders of the Vatican) would've given Saban $25M per.Had BK not left for LSU, I wonder if another program would've come calling for Freeman. Absolutely. If not after the 2021 season (Duke maybe, or possibly Va. Tech) then certainly after '22 (Cincy, Purdue, Ga. Tech). That man has had head coach written all over him for some time.Had BK not left for LSU, I wonder if another program would've come calling for Freeman. I think I read somewhere that he would have likely been the Duke head coach. There was mutual interestHad BK not left for LSU, I wonder if another program would've come calling for Freeman. He definitely puts in the work for recruiting (NIL is not his fault) and he connects well with the recruits.
While you might be right, the ND momentum and brand took a major hit in the process. That part of it is not good.It appears that after all of the coaching turnover, the sun has continued to rise for Marcus Freeman. Unless there are some weird astrological and or environmental issues in NW Indiana.
They end up coming away more than solid for my money, at least on paper, with who they're bringing in to replace who left. Now we see what kind of results they turn in on the field in 2023.
YawnWhile you might be right, the ND momentum and brand took a major hit in the process. That part of it is not good.
Careful, ND doesn't do well when you ask for "moore"More boobs less politics is the remedy here.
Put some respect on acamp1900’s name…. All my bet againsts helped with keeping the lines sane,…Has there ever been a better representative of the university than Freeman in the last 30 years? I’m not talking just sports. Tough to stack up against Father Ted but who else?
There ain’t another guy or coach in the country I’d rather have than Freeman leading this team he gets it. Now if the administration can get their heads out of their A** and get on an even playing field with NIL and give some leeway with admissions it will be a game changer
I sure hope Freeman can figure out coaching. He is interviewing for the AD job if he can. Dude is the greatest rep any school can have.
