I'd take him back. I want ND to win. Kids like him make that more plausible. There is a point where you have to have self-respect. This announcement was very disrespectful to ND, and I would not take him back at all.
+1 on both of these.Fawcett is a grifter with a tiny bit of graphics talent that went to his head. Probably gets comped like an old school street agent.
It’s also funny that anyone is pretending that “Lanning” did anything except promise outrageous amounts of money that they maybe can’t follow through on.

Oregon's liquidity has a name: Phil Knight. I agree that they probably threw out a huge number to several kids. The question becomes if Phil sees this as a wise investment of his funds. No one wants to pull an A&M and pay big money to watch kids bolt the next year.Probably why they aren’t liquid. They likely made a pie in the sky promise to him and then never ironed out the details. It’s not as simple as just “cutting a check” for millions of dollars. They literally are going to want a contract.
Dad and him want to get paid and be “rich” (spoiler alert — $2mil doesn’t get you anywhere in life if that’s all you make and never do anything after)… had an impulsive change of heart and now they have to hit the breaks while Oregon figures out what they can actually pay him. I doubt it’s even seven figures for a safety.

I never made that connection but now I can’t unsee it!Not sure how many of you watch Golf, but he looks like Jim Furyk.
Especially since the Oregon collective is basically run by by Nike people hand picked by him for the collective. No, but he can dip into the company well. I don't believe his BoT will get in his way too much.
That’s the jacket of someone who drank too much egg nog at the corporate Christmas party and hit on the secretary
I think he looks like one of those mutants from I Am LegendNot sure how many of you watch Golf, but he looks like Jim Furyk.
Man f these guys.Oregon fans saying their own staff didn't expect him to commit.

Our beat reporters should be taking more heat than the Bowens. The board had settled at an appropriate level of cynicism last week when Freeman's in-home was cancelled. So Bowen's surprise announcement for OU today should have been bit of unexpected schadenfreude at OU's expense, akin to Moore's flip to UCLA. But our recruitniks got everyone invested again without any basis in reality.
It's either the result of incompetence or malice. Regardless, today would have been far more enjoyable without that worthless industry.
Wizards,… dude had a shoe collection and bankroll to compete with swoosh inc20 billion profit in 2021. Who would ND call with that bankroll?
