Definitely possible but this isn't a Ewers situation. PSU has noboody and if he's as good as advertised/good enough to have transfer options, he'll be taking snaps for them week 1 next year and will be in the NFL after three years. I doubt he transfers if he plays up to expectations.
This dude got offered by Penn State about a year ago and he wound up the third best overall high school football recruit in America on 247 Sports. That's some trajectory. He was unranked on rivals and by September 2021 they had him at 195. He ended up 71st last month.
Anyone projecting this guy to be in the NFL after three years at Penn State. That's the absolute best case scenario even if he is as good as everyone on this board seems to think. This guy flew up everyone's radar awfully quick.
I would be remiss if I didn't remind everyone that Penn State won't stop recruiting quarterbacks after him. When the next guy comes i.n after him and if he begins to get reps for Allar, all the guys who are or are not older than him won't matter. Penn State can also bring in transfers after him too. You worry about the younger guys coming in taking your spot, not the upperclassmen.
Drew Allar isn't at Notre Dame. We have to move on at some point. Penn State just gave their mediocre head coach a ten year extension because SC and LSU fired their coaches. Penn State finished 7-6. I'll take ND's future with Freeman before I put any dimes on Penn State long term.
