Oh and let's remember: HH is the one who evaluated, offered & recruited (not signed) Correll. Maybe HH fixes him?

If not, he could be on his way to Lexington.

I remember him playing quite well at the end of the year when Patterson went down and had a few decent moments I'm the Bama game.

I'm not ready to quit on him yet either

I hope he sticks it out and learns from HH. His experience would be helpful if someone is out for covid, injuries, whatever

Zeke showed this year he isn't built for guard, but he showed pretty well in 2020 vs UNC and Bama.

I too remember reading some positives from the sites about Zeke’s play to end 2020 season at C.

here to see what Zeke has at C in ‘23, hopefully. And, if this team is really serious about a Natty next season then (knocks on wood) in the event that something happens to Patterson, I’d rather find out then who’s better between Correll and Coogan versus being forced to go with Coogan.

I hope he hangs out and gets back in line as the heir at center after Patterson...

If not, Cincy has to be an obvious choice if he decides on a fresh start somewhere else.

Correll can play guard at UC, though. Even if he had his struggles as a guard at ND, he'd still be an upgrade over Lorenz Metz in terms of technique* and discipline.


I'm being hard on Metz, he was actually much improved this year and looked like he belonged against Bama for the most part... but still too many false start penalties on the sheet.

He's just disappointing this year. Maybe I thought a 3rd year starter would be better than he is. Or maybe he's been hidden by those around him in the past and the fact that the two guards next to him are not any good either is just taking the ugly mask off.
