How many games have been played at Wrigley? I know Illinois played there, but the field is so tiny that the offense always goes one direction.

In this instance the timing is kind of curious if that's what they're after. Nebraska would have been much better off doing this six months ago.

Rumor is that his wife DID do that months ago.

For the past 2 months or so, there has been a consistent rumor he was cheating on her with some waitress from a bar and there was rumors of hookers on trips, etc. She supposedly moved back to Florida. I recall at the time he was hired that his wife really like Orlando and didn't have the same fondness for Nebraska (believe she is originally from Arizona). Only real question is if he hid in the closet while she packed up.

In all honesty, this really does show how bad the NCAA is. Coach O at LSU will get nothing, Art Briles will probably coach somewhere next year now that the NCAA paved that road for him, etc. But assistants at practice, that is where the line is drawn. LOL.

Scott Frost's buyout is $20MM until January, when it drops. The thinking is that Frost's "violations" that came out a few weeks ago were the administration getting ahead of the impending fire so they don't need to pay the entire buyout.

Iowa and Iowa State have never played each other when both are ranked in the Top 25. They're in the Top Ten for their meeting this weekend.

I know everyone will be pointing to Oregon at Ohio State as the game of the week, but The Cy Hawk Trophy is THE game for me this weekend.

ESPN agrees - Ames will be rocking with GameDay on campus. Iowa was one of the few teams that looked good this weekend. Hopefully the Cyclones were caught peeking ahead and not taking UNI seriously.

B1G needs to bring in Kansas so Nebraska doesn't have to be the doormat of the west anymore.

ISU always struggles with their FCS games. Even in these last few years where they have been good.

They'll be ready for Iowa.
