Going back to Stanley's class...
2012 Class:
Ronnie Stanley - ND offer - Irish
3 others went D-1. Duke and two to UNLV.
2013 Class:
No offers to BG kids
5 kids went D-1. Arizona, Colorado State, Fresno State, Duke and Navy.
2014 Class:
Nathan Starks: ND offer, then offer was pulled. Transferred high schools his senior year, signed with UCLA. Notre Dame finished in his top group and the ND staff toyed with reoffering him.
3 kids went D-1. Nebraska, Arizona Sate and Kent State
2015 Class:
Alizé Jones: ND offer - Irish
Nicco Fertitta: ND offer - Irish
Cordell Broadus: ND offer - UCLA but decided not to play football
3 others went D-1 to Army, Fresno State and Nebraska.
2016 Class:
No offers for BG kids
2 D-1 commits, both headed to UNLV.
2017 Class:
Haskell Garrett: ND offer - Notre Dame leads.
So in the last 6 recruiting classes, Notre Dame has missed one kid in Broadus and one is a wait and see with Garrett that held ND offers. That's a pretty good track record, which would be considered a pipeline. When you hear a kid gets offered by Notre Dame from Gorman, you know there's a pretty good shot that kid is going to have Notre Dame immediately in his Top group.
