Does anyone here subscribe to Loot Crate or anything like that? I'm considering Smuggler's Bounty and would love some feedback.

I thought about smugglers bounty. I only wanted to for the exclusive pops though, so ultimately I decided it just wasn't worth the money when i could just buy the exclusive pops off ebay for less than the actual box.

From what ive seen though they do send some pretty cool stuff. Lots of unique tshirts.

wife signed me up for some monthly craft beer thing, it was nice getting a variety of craft brews once a month from around the country. however, her CC info was hacked from the place :(

I have a cousin who gets some of his clothes like this and he loves it.

Oh, you mean that stuff. No. I'd rather pick out my stuff like this. The only boxes/things of the month club thing I'm into is prohibitively expensive.

I do Short Par 4. It's golf clothing. Being from the Northeast, I keep my subscription from April-October. $45 a month, and I get two to three items pieces of clothing. I've liked all that I have received so far. Plus, I can wear the polos and pants to work, which is a big benefit.

I've been looking into that. Is there a referral program? PM me if so and I will hook you up.

I don't think I could do clothing. I'm way too picky about how clothing fits, especially pants.

Short Par 4 sounds interesting... I rarely golf, but I could wear the clothes to work. Every day is business casual. Comfy khakis and a nice polo.

That's part of the draw for me, I can still wear the polos to work as well. One thing, since you rarely golf, is you don't know what you're getting, so for example I received golf shorts this past month. Very comfortable, and I will wear some (black and khaki) out when I'm not golfing. But if that isn't for you, it might not be worth it.

Unlikely that you'd find any natural fibers in those pants.

I have no qualms with wearing any type of clothing to any type of event, short of embarrassing those around me in a serious setting.

I figure it might force me to golf more, or at the least will provide me with some gifts I could send my father-in-law's way.

Gotcha, just wasn't sure since everyone has their own style.

I get Marvel Collectors Corp which is run by Funko as well. I only got the recent Civil War box so far but all the items are high quality and for the average of 16 dollars a month it's worth it for the Funko figures alone.

I was expecting a huge bonus last Christmas, and my dickhead boss eliminated them at the last minute and instead gave us all a membership to the "Jelly of the Month Club." I was pissed at first, but soon realized it was a gift that keeps on giving all year long.

One of my kids signed me up for a Fruit Of The Month Club membership. The first month I got a box of pears. There were more than a dozen of them. What was I supposed to do with all that fruit?

Dollar Shave Club.

It's the way to go, IMO. I shave 2-3 times a week and I already have a stock pile of blades that will last me 3-4 months (if not more). The blades are obviously not top notch quality but they are high mid-grade. I would guess I change a blade every 2 weeks and I only change it because of the quantity that I have.

I will probably check out one of the clothes boxes in the near future.

I change blades every day (straight razor, mind) with quality blades. I get blades for $6 per hundred. How does Shave Club stack up to that? Do they provide shaving oil, cream and/or moisturizer?

I couldn't trust myself with a straight razor.

They offer it and will send travel, trial size essentials every so often. I assume that's how they make the bulk of their money though because the normal size oils, creams, etc. are a bit overpriced for my liking.

That makes sense. Gotta sell a lot of razors to make money, regardless of margin.

I thought the same thing about straight razors, but my brother convinced me to give it a try. Now I can't imagine going back. I get a significantly better shave, my skin is better (used to constantly have razor burn, never again) and I spend less overall money. That's even with spending a lot more on pre shave oil and nice cream.

I ended up caving and buying a year of Smuggler's Bounty. I also ordered the back-issue Bounty Hunter box. I'm comfortable with the price of $15 per month, but it stings that they charged it as $200 up front.

Feed them to animals to fatten them up for the slaughter.

According to your picture, your shaver is terrible.
