Just noticed the GC is gone again, and it looks like it was confirmed in the "Gentlemen, you're welcome" thread.

So, what's the deal? The material in there was pretty tame by college football board standards, we kept it Playboy classy. I'm not terribly disappointed, but I'm not sure what the big deal was. I'm on four other college football boards and they all have their own hidden boards with much more risque material. Not sure what the deal was given this was invite only and we only posted models, no celeb stuff. Bit curious I guess who made the call and what the reasons were.

I'm not sure about who operates the language filter, but I do know that it wasn't any mods or Pham that took the GC down (again).

That leaves the guys that run/own the site, and they don't need to tell us when/why they're doing things lol.

Not trying to argue with you as I understand it wasn't you who decided/did it.

But I just don't understand the idea of being able to swear about a politician or news or social issue and be able to see it versus swearing at a sports related issue.

Example:

In this area you can see Fuck Michigan, but in the sports area you see **** Michigan. The only thing that makes any sense is that you are not visibly able to swear at the kids. Which I am fine with. It is their whim and that's fine, just my 2 cents.

BuckeyePlanet you have to request access from a moderator to get to their "Romper Room." On the Shag you automatically get access to "No Sex At All" after a period of time like 3 months and 100 posts. I don't have access to the forums on the other boards, but they exist.

I thought about that, but at this point I'm curious about the powers that be that keep shutting it down. If I were to strike it up again, and they decide to shut it down again, do they ban me to prevent further GC creations? Someone obviously doesn't want it up, we were about as classy as you can get...PG-13 Titantic level stuff, and it still got the axe. I've got no problem if someone wants to start it up again, but I don't think I should be the one to do it.
