What?
lol that brought the thread to a screeching halt
What?
well he certainly was the Joe S of the Offense
Ashame he didnt redshirt as a freshman. Really think he could have been a 1000 yard WR with another year
Respect the title change
I had a nice talk with Chris' dad tonight and this thread was brought up. Ol Mr. Brown got a great laugh of talking about the fun times of the thread. I know the Brown family couldn't be more happy with how things turned out.
Completely fine with the ND man title. Chris was an awesome guy by all accounts, and really brought it in practice. He might not have been Fuller, but those habbits can wear off on others too so he probably made the team better in ways that aren't easily observed. Thanks for choosing ND!
All I can do now is hope he becomes a Steeler man.

That'd be so nice... Keep Brown and Bryant, and if Wheaton wants big bucks, take Brown in the 5th/6th for a steal
Can someone explain to me what the whole Notre Dame "man" thing is? Are we copying Michigan AGAIN with the "Michigan man"? How does one become a Notre Dame man and then other's don't?
All around great person, ND degree, team leader, and not named Joe Schmidt.

Following his production this year and a look in to who 'he' was on A Season WithI'm not banging on Chris at all (more on our expectations)....
When did Chris Brown move from major disappointment to ND Man? That's a huge change in our perspective on this young man. We need to remember Chris Brown and his career path when assessing the development of freshmen (many redshirt or should but aren't afforded the opportunity) or sophomores.
And as others have stated before, we can't undervalue the impact of upper classmen - leadership on and off the field as well as football production. A tough start to a career through the sophomore year is not necessary a football bust.
