I can't blame him at all. Money, dream, jaylons injury, being absolutely manhandled by osu and seeing we are not really ready for a championship run. All equal NFL.

Good luck Will.

It will be tougher for sure next year without our best rb, ol, lb, de, dt.

I am concerned with the downfield threat, de, and lb for sure.

Hate to see him go but understand his choice. Best of luck Will.

Damn! Honestly thought he was gonna stay. Best of luck to Will. I think he can put on some weight and be a reliable deep threat at the next level. I'll take him on AZ Cards with Palmer throwing him the deep ball.

Good luck Will. Smart decision. Draft stock wouldn't have been any different next year.

unless and until we get a guy who can replace fuller and consistently take the top off a defense....i'm going with malik at qb.

Better let Kelly know.

No surprise with Will going to the draft. Best of luck to him.
He's given us plenty of highlights (and Stonehand drops).

Good luck to Will Fuller.

He came in as a 3* athlete and far exceeded expectations. Thanks for everything you did kid.

I owe him for giving me the biggest freak-out moment this season for his catch against UVA.

He would need to catch with his hands to have stone hands. He catches with his arms which will catch up to him. He will be disappointed with being drafted in the 4th or 5th round, same with Procise.

Disappointed that he would open his mouth and say he was coming back and just like that he is gone. Sanandaj pulled that Schitt and it's not ok. Sadly his big play skills will be missed but I'm sure ESB will be ok with it. Robinson, ESB, Alize Jones and Hunter......does it get better than that? Throw in some depth and we are still loaded on offense. Now just take BVG with you on the way out and we'll be golden!

LOL. Unless he gets hurt between now and then there is little chance that he falls that far. Most likely he is a 2nd round pick and a best case of late first round or a worst case of 3rd round.

Combine this post with your next post and the butt hurt is strong with you.

I feel the same way about Will Fuller as I did Rocket Ismail. Both had some things to work on to be an NFL caliber receiver (although Rocket took a detour to Canada). Neither were perfect, but neither had anything left to prove in college. Their bodies are a finite resource with a timer running on them...given what he just saw happen to a first rounder on his own team, the clock can go to zero in a split second. Gotta go take care of the family.

Proud to have another PA boy who wore the gold helmet, and delivered Legendary Damage to opponents...

Good Luck Will Fuller...thanks for being Irish!

Great kid and wish the best for him. What a big time player this year for this team. No doubt he's going to smoke the combine and pro days. These are great times to be an Irish fan. Next men in, psyched to see who is going to step up.

Hoped he would stay, but I understand the decision. I wish him the very best of luck in the NFL.

Were you okay with him changing his mind when he decommitted from Penn State and chose Notre Dame? Hypocrites.

I thought it was determined that his comment about coming back was taken slightly out of context. Or, at the least, he tried to backtrack right after saying it. Either way, I think his draft ceiling is at it's highest point right now. Wish him the best moving forward. He balled out for the Irish this season.

IMO this is a huge misconception. He does catch a number of passes close to his body, but he uses his hands quite well. He's had a number of sideline catches where he had to go in the air and catch the ball with his hands extended over his head. He has room for improvement, but to say he only catches with his body is ignorant.

He's probably very disappointed that he let you down. Perhaps his preliminary draft results came in higher than what he thought he would be when he made the comment. Hope he has a great NFL career.

Hope he runs a 4.3 in the combine and goes second round. I don't see him as a first rounder mostly due to size and less than premier hands but if some GM wants to pay that much to take the top off then more power to 'em. Good luck Will - nothing but respect for how he has put in the work for our Lady.

With IE being down a lot yesterday, I had to stoop to Gold Helmet for updates, LOL. Sorry to see Will go. Hopefully he does get his degree and can complete that journey in life.

I've said it before. He reminds me of Marvin Harrison with his speed and size. Marvin held up quite well in the NFL.

I think Fuller is taller than Antonio Brown, but Antonio is a bit more solidly built. But Antonio had questionable hands going into the draft too. I think if Will can bulk up to 185 without sacrificing too much speed he will be fine, especially if he does well in catching drills at the combine
