Louisville is one of the most embarrassing athletic programs. This major basketball scandal coupled with Pitino's embarrassing affair, Bobby Petrino is their football coach, and they play in KFC Arena and Papa Johns stadium. Pathetic.

He didn't know about it, though, just like Paterno had no clue.

"Look, when you asked me how to win over recruits, and I said 'hookers and coke', I was joking."

Side note, John Schnatter apparently wanted to foot the bill for the newest Ball State stadium (he's an alum), but Ball State wasn't going to name their football stadium 'Papa John's Stadium'.

As well, apparently David Letterman (one of our other famous alums) wanted the stadium named after him, but he was out bidded and plans for a new TCOMM building named after him was already in the works.

...and they still cheat less than UK.

Very true. I'm just waiting for the day that we finally here of the crap that Calipari has been doing at Kentucky. He's cheated at his other stops, what would make this one any different?

Good for Ball St. If a smaller program from the MAC could forego that money you would think Louisville could as well.

You'll know the exact day the evidence will hit the media... It's the day after he's announced as the Laker's head coach.

The bad thing about Kentucky is it's impossible NOT to cheat there. The Ville has been the same way. I've seen behind the curtain going back into the early 80's and it's always been crazy. IU even had surprising stuff going on right under Bobby's nose. You can't stop boosters from being boosters.

I got to tip the cap to Ricky P, UL and the fine people of Louisville as it is crystal clear to me that they are progressing as a community. First, the events were confined to a dorm room and not some crappy Italian restaurant table. Next, they actually paid these women instead of having them try to extort them. Finally, the women came up with a much better of making money off sexual rendezvous. Cheers to them all.....

...and the future looks even brighter as said lady brought her daughters along for a "Go to work with Mom day, err evening".

I'll make sad if it comes out the hostess came from across the river in Indiana.

I may be wrong, but I think that was more of a running joke by Letterman. I think he wanted to donate and not have it tied to athletics. If memory serves me, he didn't want anything named after him but BSU insisted.

The OTL video is interesting. Seems like a lot of evidence to support the escort's claim. Speaking of her: She outsourced her own two daughters during all of this. What kind of woman/mom does that!?

Unfortunately, I have little faith in the NCAA doing what's right. This will be old news soon. I hope I'm wrong. It's pretty disgusting the lengths that some people go through to get KIDS to come play a sport at their school.

Serious question. Is it a common thing for a person to WANT to have sex with a prostitute? Like, is that appealing to the average 18 year old star athlete who can presumably have lots of sex with disease-free, good-looking, 18-to-22-year-old women without too much effort? Who looks at Katina Powell and thinks, "man I can't wait to get me some of that"?

I can only imagine this as my first job interview at 18 years of age.

Billy Bagels: So tell me young man, why would you be a good fit for our bagel store?

Me: I fucking love bread made in the shape of circles with holes in the middle. I think I could sell the sh*t out of that..

Billy Bagels: Wow, it sounds like you could be a real asset to my store, how would you like a job?

Me: Well, Joey StuffaDonuts is offering me health insurance and $4.50 an hour.. Sooooo.

Billy Bagels: How would you like to bang this hooker for free and still make $4.50 an hour?

Me: Lock the doors Billy. Lock the doors.

They were also having sex with parents/guardians of recruits?! Damn. I guess I'm naive about recruiting, but damn.

Thank heavens ND runs clean programs where it is hard to imagine this sort of thing happening.

Funny story on the Doug Gottlieb show today:

When Doug was on an official visit to Bama, the Jewish fraternity on campus knew about it and threw a party in his name.
