I like the matte look. Very cool on some teams, i.e. the Vikings and Michigan State.

Penneys has a good amount of clothes...Meijer has some and some "stuff" cups, magnets, hats, etc, Kohls has some clothes...

Warning .. rant coming.

This looks like a military uniform, which I do not like. Also the solid green is MEH. The stripes are modeled after military insignias. I always liked mixing in two primary and a secondary color on football uniforms, and do not like the monochromatic military look that the NFL and college are pushing now.

Also, I hate the TCU grey uniforms this year. Football does not equal military, the kids are not going to war they are participating in athletics. The blatant military advertising that the NFL has been wearing in honor of Veteran's day is going too far, imo.

If the US is having trouble recruiting for the military, maybe its because you don't pay young kids enough to fight in wars most American's don't believe in (according to the various recent polls) and don't want to pay for. Stop using sports to condition Americans to support the military, that association needs to stop!

Next thing you will see military occupying most team's sidelines to 'protect' Americans from terrorist threats to condition Americans to accept a police state.

I agree with the sentiment of your post about the NFL and TCU and whatnot, but the ND shamrock uniforms don't scream "military" to me. I wouldn't have even noticed that if you hadn't pointed it out. I think they're hideous and absolutely inappropriate for the venue, but they don't fall into the faux patriotism dynamic in my eyes.
