They already have a game 3:30pm that day, and NFL game the next day. If this was tournament basketball, maybe, but no way the logistics would work out.

The Board of Trustees for both schools are talking about it. Clemsons's BOT may all be on campus but ND's are all over the place. Even a conference call seems a logistical nightmare.

Decision to cancel/Postpone is generally AD's call with input/concurrence of Univ. President.

It's not Joaquin that's the problem. The hurricane is moving slower and further east than earlier expected. It's about 800 miles from Clemson.

The problem is a LOW that's been stalled in northern Georgia Drining the jet stream down into the Gulf and across Florida before it swings due north up the eastern side of the Appalachians. That Low is pushing Joaquin eastward but has also been bringing rain to western South Carolina for most of the week.


Accuweather has a thunderstorm forecast this afternoon. If that runs into game time they'll have to delay/postpone.

"GO IRSH
