Where do we stand on payments/draft date?

irish o'phile volunteered to take the last spot in the league. Is he approved?

I've received 5 payments with 2? pending. Still waiting on the last 4 people besides o'phile to tell me who they are.

Keeper

Keeper

Really indecisive on who i want to make my keeper for my draft this year for the pick they will hold from last year.. I have the 3rd pick in the draft, and it is a snaking draft.. this is who I am between.. I am leaning towards AP, but see a lot of value in later rounds having Deandre Hopkins or Martellus Bennett, or a couple others.. Any thoughts on who you would keep of these potential guys?

1st Round - Adrian Peterson
2nd Round - Peyton Manning
8th Round - Golden Tate
9th Round - Martellus Bennett
10th Round - Sammy Watkins
12th Round - Deandre Hopkins

I'd take Hopkins. He's rated high on a lot of pre draft rankings so the value of Hopkins at the 12th round would be too much for me to pass up. Plus you have a very good chance at getting AP for your first round pick again if you so choose.

Hopkins in the 12th round is a joke.

Lacy, Rodgers, or Lynch.

List them in your order of who you'd pick.

Scoring is as follows:
QBs- 6 pts per TD, 6 pts at 300 yds, 3 pts at 400
Skill Position- 6 pts per TD, 1 pt per 10 yds.

Back story: I kept Forte and have pick #3. 2 of these 3 will be available in my slot.

That's tough because I haven't seen yardage points like that for QB's in relation to 6-point passing TD's. Is it 1 point per 50 passing yards?

Rodgers is going to do damage with those passing TD points, but the yardage points would scare me off. I'd probably take Lacy/Lynch, which I don't think you can go wrong with either.

It's a whole new structure. QBs have never gotten yardage points with us. Skill positions used to be 1 pt per 25. To loosen it up this year they made it 1 per 10. To compensate the QBs as well they went from 3 to 6 at 300. I don't like it. It wasn't a big deal prior but now that it's more open QBs have to get yardage points. But it's set for this year so that'll be an offseason battle.

What do you guys think? I am rotating kickers and defense each week based on matchups (KC vs inept Houston offense, GB kicker against inept Bears defense) and was the last team to take a QB. Gonna rotate those too when Cam goes belly up.

*10 team league, had 9th pick. I about shat when AP fell into my lap

Looks good all around. You may want to add another QB. Newton has no support and only Olsen to throw to.

How did you end up with Brown an AP? Even if AP fell, brown is a top 7 guy.

Got AP 9th, and Brown 12th. It was a wacky (read: dumb) first round. Gronk, Luck, and Rodgers all went in the top 8, and Manning went 10th. It is a 6 point per passing TD league, and people overreacted. I couldn't believe Brown was there either.

Check out this team I got in one of the leagues I am in. I lost power a pick into the draft and the rest went on autodraft...

Matthew Stafford
Demaryius Thomas
Alshon Jeffery
Jordan Matthews
Jamaal Charles
Mark Ingram
Martellus Bennett
GB Defense
Caleb Sturgis
Emmanuel Sanders flex

No idea how I got such a team on autodraft.

My team in my money league I am not as confident about:

Carson Palmer
Lamar Miller
Frank Gore
Demaryius Thomas
Julio Jones
Mike Evans
Zach Ertz
Cardinals Defense
Caleb Sturgis
Not sure on Flex yet

Bench:
Tre Mason
Charles Sims
Monte Ball
Blake Bortles
Kenny Stills
Broncos defense

Flacco is on the wire, may dump someone (Cruz? Gray?) and grab him.

*Just dumped Gray and claimed Flacco

Second thoughts on my keeper. Have Forte down but damn if Antionio Brown isn't looking juicy. #1 WR versus #4 RB. The original strategy is to have two quality backs and picking up some sleepers late. This also assumes the first 8 picks are by less adept owners (they didn't finish poorly on pure luck, right). Some surely learned RBs are important, others are oblivious star chasers doomed to repeat past mistakes and talk themselves into bad decisions.

I get the 9th and 16th picks. Regardless of which route I take, I pretty much need to pick up an RB with the #9 pick as there will surely be 3-4 taken from #10-#15 picks. #16 I will probably have the same quality WR or QB available as was there at #9.
