I don't know where I insulted anyone. That wasn't my point.
What gets me is when reporters pick up the sky is falling theme, and then some less knowledgeable posters (not speaking of you or any recent contributor on this thread) parrot it back to impress everyone with their knowledge.
Watching day one if you watch Wimbush his feet were happy as hell. Now I really like this kid, don't get me wrong. I hope he is a mega-superstar for ND! But right now he has the look of a freshman Jimmy Clausen, minus the extra early semester. He has to rely on his cannon to make throws. (I agree, it is not a mortal arm!) But his feet were all the heck over the place! And that shows on day two, as he threw many off target, behind his receivers, and had some nice pics.
See the problem with getting all slobbery over a rookie, with the mindset he is going to be the solution for all of the problems is, that not only does it rarely happen, (if ever), but then you take a great kid and risk ruining him by throwing him into the fire too fast. I guarantee, expecting too much out of a kid that hasn't played a snap of college football is the best way to destroy his "head," and put out his "desire." So that is why I called that tweet bull stuff. Here is todays action, LOOK AT THESE FRESHMEN AND LOOK AT THESE RECEIVERS! From UND.COM :

By the way, you can see the bad ball Wimbush threw result in an amazing Crawford interception.
And finally, I called someone I know in the Bend, at the University, and they had just finished having a chat with an incredible resource who saw the entire practice, was impressed with Zaire, said all three quarterbacks were good enough, (at least), and when my friend asked his "really" question, he got a "This year fans are going to say Everett Who?" answer!
