They had a couple of good show-only clues and tidbits in there, as well. Like the part with Maester Aemon mentioning a Targaryen "alone in the world," and on cue, Jon walks in. Didn't catch that in the show.

Yeah. Neither did I.

Has there been any information on whether any of the Stark actors are still planned for filming? Not that it guarantees the R+L=J outcome. But it would certainly add to the evergrowing list of clues suggesting it.

The casting call basically should have just said Ser Arthur Dayne the description was so spot on.

I know Bran is confirmed to return for season 6.

My personal belief is that unless Howland Reed returns in season 6 to tell someone the story about the ToJ, that Bran will show us the ToJ via a flashback by warging into a weirwood tree. Would be sweet as the season-opening scene.

Other than what the actors are saying, though, there aren't any characters confirmed outside of the casting calls that were referenced in the thread already.

Emilia Clarke:
Ooooh. Oooooh there’s so much in store for her. I’m saying that obviously because I’ve read the script for next season. Muwah ha ha! I know stories. It’s really exciting. Next season, I’ve said this before, but there’s a lot of season where you need to (rightly so) kind of need to set the scene. And you have a couple of episodes where you’re like, “OK, feeding information, I get it. We’re finding out about this person. And we know about that person. And oh, there’s that person.” But this season coming up, that we’re about to film, there’s none of that. It’s just go, go, go, go. Shocking moment to shocking moment. Epic moment to epic moment. It’s mental; it’s epic. And definitely Dany’s a part of it.

I borrowed The World of Ice & Fire from the library today. I doubt I have time to read the whole thing. Does anyone who has read it have any recommendations for sections I should definitely read?

George is done with cons until February. If he gets everything written by the turn of the year, it can be edited and out to beat season six. Do we think he can do it? For all we know he took the time off to watch fucking football.

And the Kingslayer in the Riverlands. Stoneheart confirmed?

I have to assume Arya links up with Nymeria and her pack, but we haven't heard anything about her pack yet. I guess Arya being a warg isn't going to play that much if she's already in Westeros.

GRRM mentions her wolf dreams too often in the books for them to play no part, even in the show. It would be cool if they showed us a Nymeria POV scene while Arya is blinded and dreaming or something, just as a refresher/introduction.

And then Arya begins to master the art of Warging, and adds to her expansive assassin repertoire.

But he's the Song of Ice and Fire! He can't just play for one team, he has to mediate!

Stannis was alive the last time we saw him in DwD. Why wouldn't he be alive in the beginning of WoW? Further, from WoW sneak peeks, we already know he's alive and the seige of Winterfell hasn't started, yet.

The point being the show is further along than the books by a tiny bit. Maybe he lives, maybe he dies, but what Martin said isn't contradictory to what we "know."

Exactly. And from the contextual clues we've been given, it seems very likely that Stannis will win the upcoming Battle of the Frozen Lake. The Mannis obviously isn't done yet.
