- CMc feels nobody in Coney's camp thinks Gainesville is the right place for him.

- Even with the flip of Baker, there doesn't seem to be concern of Coney picking the Gators.

- After some digging, CMc learned that if Coney is to pick the Irish, he won't visit anymore schools as the staff laid down the law.

- Still on pace to be an EE.

- ISD feels that he will pick the Irish.

Interesting that the staff is putting its foot down on visits. I wonder if other recruits are being told similar things? (Tillary)

That's a good question. I wonder if it has more to do with the fact that taking Coney means passing on other guys (Kirkland) whereas we don't really have as bad of a positional need or the quality backup options for Tillery.

I think it's different situations. With Tillery, anytime a top OT from Louisiana wants on board you let him, but his was as a junior.

When Coney originally wanted to commit staff told him to be sure. Now he's set a date. Why should the coaching staff be lenient. When they already have him his opportunity to look around.

Someone posted the other day saying that ND would probably have the best group of linebackers in this class if they land Coney. I just looked at the teams that have top 10 recruiting classes (according to 247); with the addition of Jerome Baker, O$U is the only team that would compete with ND's linebackers. Auburn would have the 3rd best group IMO.

And go look at the defensive ends that South Carolina is bringing in next year. It's almost not fair

I don't think it's started yet. Could be wrong...

Edit: I can count on one hand the number of times I've tuned into a live announcement like this and it has actually worked. Won't be surprised if it shows up on twitter before the video loads.
