The point is, rumors of Rochell's great strength gains are confirmed!

And he's quick, too!

Our whole d-line played great. Regardless of whether Peat is the best, that line is stacked with former 5*'s and future NFLers with Peat, Garnett and Murphy. We got 4 sacks and constant pressure while holding them to a yard and a half per carry. Felt we dominated them all game.

Agree with these. The D-line and D as a whole made a BIG statement. That's all that matters.

Not sure exactly what you meant here since it is worded kind of confusingly but I've heard multiple announcers this year saying Peat is the top OT in the country, draft grade-wise. Now, they could be wrong (most likely are and I don't agree with that ranking if he is indeed #1 ranked) but either way, he's one of the highest rated OT's in the country...and he got sat down.

I've also heard announcers say he is just a very highly rated OT...which I can agree with. Just doesn't seem like a #1 to me.
Sorry I meant that the top rated tackles for the upcoming draft are as follows:

1. Cedric Ogbuehi TAMU
2. Brandon Scherff Iowa
3. La'El Collins LSU
4. Peat

Ahh gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up. That seems like a reasonable spot for Peat to me. Don't know much about those other guys tho so I don't really know what I'm talking about haha.

Rochell is demonstrating to a formerly skeptical me that he is one helluva stud. Playing DT has created another ND DLine monster.

With the convenience of hindsight, IR in a 4-3 seems like a match made in heaven. He really does seem to be the prototypical strong side DE/slide over DT.

For the first few games of the season, IR and Jones, to me, seemed to be the Danny Sponds of 2012-- never hear their name called, but solid players always seemingly doing the little things right. IR, though, has eclipsed that and become not only the listed above, but a guy whose name we are starting to hear.

Definitely agree. Isaac is playing great and deserves some recognition. So is Jarron and so is Shledon. All 3 are playing phenomenal. They will be a force the rest of this year and next.

And don't forget Trumbetti...he's playing well too for a true freshman. Give him another year to develop and the D-line is scary good. Okwara also plays well and shows flashes too.

I expect BVG to have these guys as a recognized top D-line unit by next year. They already are a top D-line in my eyes...just don't get the recognition...yet.

Isaac is a beast. Tremendous group up front w Day and Jones. They are going to be really special next year w Blankenship, Trumbetti, Bonner, Cage, Muhkwa, Okwara and others. I love the talent that is being developed and the depth that is arriving.

Here's Rochelle obliterating likely-1st-round-pick Stanford OT Andrus Peat:

Hilarious watching overrated Peat be so slow out of his stance and not even get his hands on Rochelle.

For the sake of everyone's blood pressure, it would be awesome to see zero defensive lineman thread bumps from now until September.

Is this the play he fanned on leading to #15 trotting into the endzone? That's beast mode.
