In reality, though, USC fans may be realizing that their new coach has more in common with the old one than anyone realized — or, worse, exactly as much as everyone feared.

Sarkisian has a hot wife and named his kid Husky?

USC OT Chad Wheeler suffers torn ACL, out for season - CBSSports.com

By Jerry Hinnen | College Football Writer
October 27, 2014 2:00 pm ET

... Steve Sarkisian announced that starting left tackle Chad Wheeler will miss the remainder of the 2014 season with a torn ACL.

...

The good news for the Trojans is that unlike many other positions on their scholarship-strapped roster, Wheeler has an experienced replacement in Aundrey Walker. The 6-foot-6 senior has started 18 games for the Trojans at both tackle and guard, and according to Sarkisian filled in admirably against the Utes.

Sagarin's 11/15/14(before UL) Predictor Model has ND about a 6 point dog to USC in L.A.

As both teams lost today, both will fall in Saragin's rankings but I don't expect that 6 point different to change with Sunday's ratings. Both teams have some talented personnel and both have a limited number of bodies.

UCLA essentially restricted Agholor by pressuring Kessler. We need some people to get healthy quickly.

With Jones being out for the rest of the season, I really hope Cage is ready to go for this game.

If we can embarrass Michigan to start the year and beat USC to finish, I get a warm fuzzy feeling about the season overall regardless of what happens in the middle.

I did think Martini did a better job against the run so maybe his forced start is a blessing in disguise. Let's hope Morgan takes lots of first half notes and comes in ready to kick some ass (or Martini plays so well Morgan is forced to ride the pine all game).

Well, we are looking at:

C) lose to Northwestern, Louisville, and Southern Cal

*In your scenario I take A all day long. A win would salvage the season and be satisfying, despite the unsubstantiated hope we all had at 6-1.
