What happened to the good old days when people talked out their problems in private by a simple note or innocent interrogation

Thanks Crusader, good to know. I really hope he gets back to ND to finish his degree. If he can play football great but I hate to see a young man ruin his life on one really bad evening.

No doubt VDP.

I doubt it will be back to South Bend for Will, he was already in CBK's dog house. I would venture to guess that he will become a Penguin at Youngstown St or maybe a Redskin at Miami for Martin... if they had a decent relationship(?)

But if he decides that ND is what he wants, got his degree without ever playing a snap I would not blame him one bit.

Okay Will, you've been given a big break. Take advantage of it.

Man I would not want Whiskey to learn that I found a stranger in the Alps.

Easily the best instance of TV censorship in the history of ever:

Apparently they've put it on a shirt now, too:

Might have to own this.

The caption under his latest Instagram:
What an experience I had at the University of Notre Dame the past two years. I learned so much and I'm learning more and more everyday about life. I would like to thank the university for the opportunity, I met so many people I won't forget. I wish nothing but success for the university and everyone affiliated. Everything that has happened is a part of gods plan for my life and I was without a doubt supposed to be at ND for the time I was, but once a door closes he opens another. The caption on the shirt immediately brought to mind the discovery of an ice mummy corpse, found years ago, in an alpine glacier. The victim died of head trauma, over 5,000 years ago. The story was from an article in the National Geographic. The National Geographic magazine was so ubiquitous - waiting rooms, libraries, and home delivered subscriptions. I wonder if there is a connection between this Coen brothers line, delivered by John Goodman, and the trauma inflicted on the Alps iceman?

Just as predicted.

Probably leads the nation in rushing during the '16 season.

Best of luck to Will. He handled his situation and his departure from ND in a very responsible and classy way.

Unless I'm mistaken, Youngstown is D1 FCS. Any player transferring from FBS to FCS can play in that upcoming season.

Thanks! I guess I didn't know that's what the rule was. Thought it was only if you were moving into a lower division.

But good for him! Hoping to see some nice stats from him this year.

Per Hansen,

Moving on — again

Former Notre Dame running back/slot receiver Will Mahone’s stay on the Youngstown State football team was short-lived.

The Austintown, Ohio, product was auditioning at linebacker for the handful of days he was with the FCS program. He did not play in a game for the Penguins and is no longer on the team.

Hmm, wonder what happened there. Just didn't make the team? I mean he isn't a LB.

To the extent he's the same enthusiastic, friendly kid he seemed to be during his recruitment, I hope he gets a second chance somewhere and is able to take full advantage.

He was trying out as a normal walk-on. Not sure what his situation is now, whether he is still going to school at YSU or not

didn't look at their depth chart, but having a 4* RB walking onto your program and then trying him out at linebacker doesn't seem to be the best move...BUT again didn't look at depth chart or maybe they have something good there
