As a Bear fan, I lived through Fridge mania and every time the ball was on the goal line... fans went NUTS hoping he would get the call. Really like nothing I have ever witnessed in sports.

You'd have to compare AT's highlight film to Trent Murphy's college highlight film. Murphy actually wasn't all that in high school, at least he didn't have THOSE kinda highlights. I saw him a few times, he was on a great team and was a very solid player. He played against very good competition too, I don't know what AT's conference was like so that could be a factor.

He's best friends with my cousin, they both attended the same HS in Saratoga Springs. Just prior to him going to ND they invited him over for dinner and about halfway through a huge "crack" interrupted the conversation. Anthony's chair broke and while he was blushing from clearly an "oh shit what happened" moment, everyone started laughing. Apparently one of the nicest person's with a personality as big as him once you get to know him

He really impressed me yesterday. Rewatching parts of the game this morning, and there's a sequence in the first quarter where he blows up a running back in the backfield and then covers him on a passing route the next play. Soo athletic, and he's already got the heft to play end.

Amen to that! I really believe this kid is going to be the next coming at DE for ND. Could be as good, if not better, than Tuitt before he decided to play with all that extra weight.
