Steve Wiltfong put in a CB for Soso to ND today.
Anyone have an idea what prompted this? I would love to get this guy.
Wiltfong with the CB to ND!
BTW - In 2014, Wiltfong had the highest percentage correct (134/156 - 85.9%) of analysts ranked in the top 14 of total points. He was 6th overall (analysts who make 753 predictions end up with more points, regardless of accuracy). 2015 looks like more of the same. He is 6th in total points with 101/109 - 92.66% correct, the highest percentage in the top 17 of total points.
I trust in Alford. As long as we have a productive season on the field, I think Alford gets his man. Also, I think Bryant and Folston are going to have some WOW moments.
Don't think anything specific really prompted it. Coming out of The Opening, the feeling reported by some places is that we're heads up with UCLA for him right now. While there is definitely some allure to UCLA, I think people are cautiously optimistic that we win out here.
Biggest issue I see is that people have UCLA as a dark horse title contender whereas Vegas has ND winning 7 games... we're going to have to put a good product on the field to land these recruits.

Has he visited UCLA before? I don't see one on his 247 timeline.
Yes he has and has commented on how he understands why someone would like ND and why someone would like UCLA "its Hollywood" he said. I think we sit in good position but they do offer something different and Mora is willing to do anything to get a recruit. I think Alford's approach wins out.

I'd rather have Ty'son Williams and Soso than Soso and Josh Adams, but having two big backs come in in the same class in Soso/Adams is intriguing.
Is Soso considered a "big back" though? I thought he had speed and agility to go along with that size. Maybe you are right, but I would gladly take Soso and Adams.
I hate to use the cliche 'frame to add good weight', but he's 6'3", 210 LBs on 247. I'd guess that's over listed, but still bigger than most high school backs.
Looks like he had a bunch of CB's to Baylor last month. Any particular reason? And does he have a timeline?
He loved Baylor and when Baylor landed one of the elite 16 rb recently....it seems it tipped the scale in our favor. That's my speculative guess.
