It's a shame none of our 3 early commits are local. Usually our early commits are local kids who wind up being able to get to campus often and help recruit uncommitted guys on their visit. Would be nice to gain a commit or two this weekend (Taylor, Boykin and/or Barajas please), and have those guys come back for that weekend and the Spring game.

I would love for him to commit early. I think he is going to be a really good college player, whether he goes to Notre Dame or not

Thanks for posting. Two things to keep in mind. First, this kid is a lot of coaches #1 TE and such is the life recruiting top end talent. Secondly, we're going to have to win a couple of battles with OSU this year if we want some of our key recruits. As of now, I think we're in good shape in those battles.

I would like to see a link too. Everything I have read and heard about this kid screams an ND lock. I'm not saying that other schools don't have a chance (otherwise, he would have already committed here), but I find it very questionable that a team that just offered could jump to the top. He has zero ties to Bama and there would be no circumstance that would put their offer in a personal category for a kid like this.

Yeah, thanks. Simply put I can't see someone with his background from that prep school ever choosing a place like Alabama. With all due respect to the posters from the south on this board and the Bama fans, but in that part of the country from a school like that you don't go to Alabama. It just doesn't happen. I don't even think for a football player I can see it happening, even with what Alabama has to offer for football.

Everyone calls me negative and a pessimist but I'm more confident in Clark ending up here than anyone else in this class besides Hoge. Seriously.
