hmmmm.... since there seems to be a small groundswell occurring to lumber me with this prestigious award, I like to just remind everyone that I just type the posts, I DON'T OVERRATE THEM! --- Damm it feels good to shout once in a while when you're old.

So the "winners" of this award should be the "lavish responders" who obviously have no taste, or think that I might remember them in my vWill.

I always thought it was fun to Google Translate what Bogs says though. I'm almost waiting for the day that Bogs says something off the wall or hilarious, and people miss it because they didn't take time to translate what it meant.

You bring up a good idea.

In your case a "groundswell occurring to lumber you with this award" is nothing more than base jealousy for all the love (respect) shown you for the deep insight contained within your posts.

The reason I need to take issue with all of this is that Mike genuinely posts based upon the wisdom he has obtained in a life well lived. He shares openly, honestly, and humbly. He never asks for anything in return, not adulation, not ego strokes, none of the superficially centered crap that drive some.

For this site to remain of the standards it is, we need some that are up to date on the latest happenings, and we need some that blow like the breeze with each new thing, and we need some with a little wisdom to balance it out.

Please note this is not an attack on a person, no matter what your views. It is an attack on the idea of bringing someone down because they are spoken so highly of, when one cannot think of anyone else to tag with the title "overrated."

I think we need to come up with threads like, "IE Member I would most like to (____) and why. Could be meet, drink, converse, watch a game with, etc.
