Hasn't had much contact with ND's staff as of yet but would like to going forward. Michigan, OSU, Bama, Oklahoma seem to be standing out the most. He likes ND's tradition, great instituion. Will be taking his recruitment to NSD so plenty of time to build relationships and take visits.

Per Scout: Loves ND helmets, knows the traditions and followed BK while he was at Cincy. Alford visit was cancelled due to weather, if he sees more interest he is open to a visit.

My RB this year is Damien Harris, let's hope he breaks the cycle!

- No RBs last year and we have a 5' 10", 200 lb, 4.34 top ranked RB that wants to visit ND if we show more interest.

- 6 weeks ago he decommits form Michigan

- 2 weeks ago he's wanting to build a rapport with ND because he likes it so much...speaks highly of ND, followed BK at Cincy, likes our helmets, education and tradition

-Alford's visit was canceled due to weather and it has not been rescheduled yet.

- now we aren't even in his top 7 and are fading

Am I missing anything? Are we still looking to get him on campus? Is he one of our main RB targets?

Well, with the schools mentioned as his favorites, it would appear you are missing a rather large sum of $$.

IMO, Farrell is clearly trolling for hits. Farrell has become a figurehead at best these days. He has to validate his check somehow and he's resorting to doing this. With that said I don't feel good about Harris to ND.

I do expect Bama to make a huge push for him. Don't know if we will land him, but I am sure he is being told he will be the successor to Henry.

He did mention UK again recently since he is in state but I don't believe he will end up there. His mom still likes Michigan so they are still the biggest threat at this point IMO.

We need a running back to get drafted high and get some publicity. We haven't had that in a while.

Most of those schools have that, or are close to him. UM is just in as a sentimental favorite.

Two years ago there was a player by the name of Greg Bryant who showed no interest early in the process. Fast forward past Theo Riddick running hard and Cierre Wood racking up some yards and realize that our double digit wins allowed us to sign some talent that wasn't interested early on.

Win this year, run the ball like we believe we are capable and there will be plenty of young talent taking notice. I'm still waiting to see it but this team has too many weapons at every position to average under 35 pts/game.
