This has been a perfect class in the sense of building solid depth in the front 7 and filled every glaring need. I have a feeling the '15 class will be elite across the board - it's already off to a great start.
BK said it earlier- everyone has 22 good players to put out there, but the difference is the depth that those teams have behind the 22. We were in a lot of trouble when injuries occurred in the front 7 this year and that shouldn't be as big of a problem going forward.

Updated first page to include a list of signees and missed targets; still confirming the missed targets.

Darius Slade DE who flipped from NEB to MSU two weeks ago won't sign with MSU today.

He's visiting Urban next week.

So many choices, so little time.

More MSU/OSU news

Slade (NEB decommit, MSU verbal)...now signed OSU

With NJ DE Darius Slade visiting in 10 days, OSU recruiting class could become 23. But otherwise, 2014 class looks to be done.

"Was just told by a source that Michigan State is passing on Slade now as he wants the Spartans to wait on him after his OSU official."

apparently...didn't even visit OSU

I guess DE Darius Slade didn't need to visit #OhioState to sign with Buckeyes. His HS coach said it's a done deal. Makes it No. 23.

“@RapSheet: With National Signing Day over, #Wisconsin RB coach (and top recruiter) Thomas Hammock is headed to become the #Ravens RB coach, per source.”

How shitty, wait till they ink and then leave literally hours later

I love this class. Sure, JuJu/Quick would have been sweet icing on top but I feel no disappointment whatsoever.

Agree with those saying that this has been a very underrated class. Just looking over at these guys there isnt a single guy who can't be a very good player with development. They all have the physical characteristics needed to be stars at their positions and all seem to be hardworking and genuinely good kids.

QB we got Deshone Kizer who has a big frame, good arm, athletic and seems to be confident and have a good head on his shoulders. Needs a lot of work imo, but not a bad guy to bring in and develop.

WR continues to be impressive. Justin Brent is big and very athletic. Could be an all around WR. There's really nothing about him as a recruit you can say he doesn't have. Corey Holmes is also pretty big and pretty athletic. Could probably play right away with his hands and route running ability. Everyone mentions him as a 6'2" TJ Jones (Even BK) and I have to agree.

At TE Nic Weishar is the big and very fluid athlete who seems to have natural hands. Can be a great pass catching TE. Tyler Luatua is smaller height and length wise, but still good size and athletic. Seems more violent in the way he plays. Can be a h-back for us and used inline. Also referred to by coach Kelly as a passcatching TE, so he obviously has good hands and abilities on that side also.

At oline we have a bunch of guys who can move very well. Coach Kelly made that a priority the way he spoke about it and I agree with him. Felt the most impressive guy looking at highlights in that group was Quenton Nelson. Just superior athlete in the way he moved around.

Interior Dline, I like who we got to end this class. Lets start with Jay Hayes (Brooklyn!) who has extremely good athletic ability and size. Needs work imo on both his body and technique but can be very good. No Pete Mokwuah and Daniel Cage aren't Matt Dickerson in terms of athletic ability, but they are good athletes with very good size.. Pete has a pretty low floor, but a huge ceiling. Huge and moves his feet well. Needs to work on his hands and some other things but the sky is the limit there. Daniel is a better floor player with less of a ceiling. Still a very good player. Seems to really fly off the snap, get low and use his hands to penetrate in the backfield. Really liked what I saw on highlights with him. Good gets late.

Defensive Ends, Jhonny Williams and Grant Blankenship are very similar. Both have similar size and similar abilities, except Grant is further along in his process. Extremely good get offs and athletic abilities from both. Need to work on furthering techniques, hand usage, etc.

Hybrid rush LB/DE is my favorite position. Trumbetti is the best of the bunch, because he is the furthest along but Jonathan Bonner and Kolin Hill both have great size, very good get offs and athletic ability. My opinion, most upside position in this class along with oline.

Linebackers are a good position group also. Nyles Morgan is an absolute stud. His movement skills, size, physicality and recognition skills make him a prototypical MLB in either scheme. Nile Sykes is also a good athlete with good size. His pursuit is very good also. Reports are he's a WLB in both schemes. Not sure of his coverage skills, but looks like he has the abilities to play that position. Greer Martini has great size and athletic ability also. Seems that he is more of a SLB in a 4-3 or MLB in 3-4. Downhill player.

CB we only got Nick Watkins but he seems like a great player. Very big and athletic. Moves hips very well. Looks physical. One of our best players in this class. Probably the best. Put him in the group with Russel, Luke, Butler and Kinlaw, that is a WOW group.

Drue Tranquill at safety or a linebacker is a good athlete with good to great size. Need better tacklers at safeties so if he sticks there it would be a good get with very high potential.

Tyler Newsome looks like he has a strong leg.

Point is this class is a very high upside class, where we hit all of our needs. Could a Terrence Alexander who couldve been a great slot corner and return man (extremely good hips), or Quick as a general offensive playmaker or McKenzie as a return man playmaker help put this class over the top? Sure, but this class has no one who doesn't hold their own weight. Every other class we had, I could point to at least one guy as a player who was probably just going to be a depth player. I just dont see that this year.

Pulled out a box and started taking things out like a Gatorade bottle, some rings, a shoe saying "that's not it." Idk if they were supposed to represent the other schools or not. Then he's like "that's it" and pulls out the USC hat. Something like that. It was just so stupid.

Not before the cliched "I'll be taking my talents to...". I like LeBron, but I would love to smack him silly for that one.

Tennessee having 37 signees is legitimately insane. That's basically half of most NCAA rosters. Mind boggling.

I just went through both rivals and 247's team rankings and every time I passed over Tenn. and read 37, an angel lost its wings.

Stanford just lost a lowly rated SDE to BYU. Did he not get admitted? Or get forced out by Thomas? Or what? Know nothing about this guy, but apparently this was a surprise.

Especially when they signed 20+ last year. There is no room for these guys, even with all of the loopholes and EE forward counting you can muster.

Based off the name, religion may have been a factor. That's why guys like Teo, Mama, etc. always consider BYU.

Bastion of integrity Florida A & M with the jerk move of the signing period:

Pulled his offer about 6:30 last night, told him it was because of test scores. But according to the player and his coach, he qualifies and FAMU has told him for quite a while that he qualifies. He and his coach say the offer was pulled was because FAMU had too many commitments.

I don't know where people are getting 37 from on pay sites. They signed 32. That's still a lot but someone is throwing out bad info. Orlando Brown and another kid have to go JUCO because of grades. They gained Sawyers but lost a kid to Mississippi St.

We have one five star on Rivals, Quenton Nelson, and one on Scout, Nyles Morgan.
