Apparently he's leaning toward Georgia now? Has he even been there before? Seriously one of the weirder recruitments I've been aware of.

Nothing would surprise me at this point. I do wish this kid nothing but good things because after all, he still is a kid, but his recruitment has been bizarre. I just hope this kid makes it somewhere and sticks with it.

This kid is unbelievable. Now apparently will follow another of his idols Sony Michel to Georgia. And no he's never visited Georgia.

I wonder if he realized that he's not going to be able to qualify for a D-I scholarship a few months ago, and that's what started all this madness. Since he's headed to JuCo anyway, why not go full potato and really milk the process?

Georgia now??...

This is just getting odd. Too odd. More odd than before. Odd as odd can be. The oddest.

Off topic but every time I see this phrase I die with laughter.

Now I'm confused.

Either way I still don't care.

Sony and IM are teammates. They both attend American Heritage, same school that produced Michael Deeb.

Funny side note. I was looking at IM's twitter and he had a picture of him and Sony standing next to each other prior to a game at the start of the season and it said. "My first conversation with Sony". Seems pretty odd that he wouldn't have had any contact with a guy he played football with.

I can't decide if it's less offensive than the term it's replacing, since the meme that spawned it isn't very kind to the mentally disabled either. Ah, internet.

Deeb, McKenzie and Michel were all on the same team? Jeebus. Who were we recruiting from the other American Heritage?

Yup, as are '15 National prospects Torrance Gibson and Tavarus McFadden.

American Heritage was one of the best teams in the state of Florida this year. With the talent they have, you can understand why lol

Nope, same American Heritage.

Different American Heritage.

That's right. Bryant attended the AH in Delray Beach, the others play for the AH in Plantation.

Same school, apparently, but different campuses.

I was always my understanding, that it was different (seperate) schools, different locations, same name.

Based on this website, it looks like both campuses are run by the same organization. Though it's probably accurate to say that prospective recruits consider them to be "different schools", since they play on separate teams.

I'll add Carter Jacobs, a three-star safety prospect, to the '14 list as well. Heritage is loaded.

Sucks that we'll miss out on McKenzie. Yeah, he might have been a head case later and caused drama, so maybe we're better off in the end, but it would be nice to continue tapping into south-east Florida talent. From what it sounds like AH in Plantation is good, in the past we've gotten talent from St. Thomas Aquinas nearby in Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami talent is not far south of those two guys. Hopefully we stay on good terms with the coach at AH.

I'm not wishing any ill will on IM and still hope he ends up successful, but this young man has some real issues and I don't think he's even aware of them.

Schizophrenia is a real 'issue'. IM is just indecisive.
