I see Kuehnja putting negative comments about Longo and I don't know much about him. Is this all in fun or does Kuehnja truly not like him and want to see him go? This is a serious question from me and not another jab at Longo. Thanks.

wow. that is a lot of weight to put on. He looks like he is carrying it well though. He needs to remain mobile, so I agree about it affecting his speed.

He'll probably drop a few lbs as the season gets going.

I'm ok with him being a TAD BIT slower, as long as he keeps ahold of the football. He did better at the end of the season though.

He'll be fine. Most players put on weight and strength through their teens and early twenties and improve speed and strength.

When CW was coach the players typically lacked stamina in the fourth quarter and many lost a lot of weight through the season. If you watched the Pinstripe Bowl you could see how the Oline dominated in the second half.

To be fair, IrishPat was ready to fire the whole staff, so I counted him as being on my side :).

#FreePat!

IP was ready to fire the staff and the team.

Could be wrong but wasn't he not in Longo's program? Thought he was working with George Whitfield.

Thats what he was saying. He's gained muscle since off his program. He's the one who made the ridiculous Longo must go thread. I could be wrong, but I think he's making fun of himself.

gotcha. thanks.

Except he wasn't making fun of himself. He really believe that Longo is a speed sucking vampire!

Half the posters in this community of "informed" fans do the same thing, even when typing. Golson / Golsen / Golston, Gholson.

So true.

I do like Hundley at 12/1 though.

Mike posted on ISD that he heard the staff is very impressed with Golson so far. Has had a great attitude since re-enrolling.

I'm proud of the kid for admitting he was an idiot and coming back. Would've been a lot simpler to take the easy path and enroll at some school in the Carolinas.

Absolutely. I don't think there are a whole lot of QBs at other schools who would have done the same.

Agree, and can't wait to say the same thing for DD (minus the playing in Carolina part).

Agree, and a lot of other schools would have only slapped him on the wrist.
