When we set the date, it was one of the days that was still open. The bye is the following week. So sad.

I think Auburn provided a bit of blueprint for stopping FSU's offense last night. Put Winston on the ground early and often. They didn't stick the landing, but they controlled FSU for a good bit of that game. Do we have the horses to pull that wagon next year? I guess we'll see.

Watching last night's first half proved to me that while FSU is uber talented, they still have mediocre (or even below average) Xs and Os guys on their coaching staff. Malzahn completely outcoached them and was better prepared coming into that game. Kind of like what Saban did to Diaco (although that was also compounded by Bama > ND).

Anyways, it gives me hope for next year. FSU likely loses a lot of their talent around Winston and I think we'll be competitive.
