I like Nyles better but Anzalone was a very good ILB prospect. 5 star, no but a very good prospect still. We want tall and long ILB's that can move, precisely what Anzalone was. We went all out for him because he was that good. Getting Nyles will make up for it and then some.

Anzalone had an incredible game in the Under Armour. To me he was the best player on the field.

Anzalone is better football player, but Morgan is probably a better ILB. Anzalone played a lot OLB/DE in his senior season and had a monster year as a RB, not really much as a ILB.

It's really close.. to me Anzalone better athlete/versatility and Morgan better ILB.

really? I was impressed by his play from side line to side line. He was really impressive at Under Armor game too.But to be fair to you I know you were never really that high on him. Respect the honesty bro, just because he wears Blue and Gold doesn't mean hes gonna be a star. I always questioned some of our commits when we took them. But I am also far from a coach and everyone's "highlight" tape is awesome. I have/had the same questions about McKenzie's when there are others who drool over it.

Thanks dude.

I definitely saw the side line to side line speed that everybody else did. But he doesn't make a lot of plays, have big hits or get to the QB well. He looked fluid in space and had good size. I never saw the 5 star talent that he supposedly had.

I think the fact that he saw time this year and only recorded one tackle (on a dumpster fire of a team) shows that he is still a project. 5 star kids aren't suppose to be projects.

With all due respect I thought Anzalone had a wonderful game. But a better game then VH3?

Look at us getting along now =). But I agree I saw a very solid 4 star prospect. But he never had the wow factor of what 5 star's had. Now he stuck at a dumpster fire and will probably become a H-back. Still think his dad had a lot to do with his recruitment.Actually he had everything to do with it.

You wonder if they had Anzalone how many LB's they'd be after/taking.

They look Martinis commitment before Anzalone. I also believe they would have taken Nyles Morgan no matter what. I don't think any school in the country would turn him down. Ole Miss can say whatever they want. ND just beat them in a recruiting battle.

I'm not sure he was the best ILB on the field in that game - Ben Boulware played really well.

Honestly, I think Tarean has just as good as a game as VH3. Folston played CB and was a freaking stud. He was my big player on the field there. The QB kept picking on him because it wasn't his "first position", but Tarean shut down whoever he was covering.

Anzalone reminded me a lot of Joe Bolden from Colerain, OH. Fundamentally sound and could do all the things an ILB would be asked to do but not a game changer. Legit four star talent but IMO 5* status should be designated for game changing athletes at their position.

Would've loved to have Anzalone on this roster but if I had to pick between the two, I'm taking Morgan. Better in space and at the point of attack.

Great comparison.

One hat on the table. Family will be there. No more visits. Not a silent but the school he is going to pretty much knows he's coming.

I will be absolutely shocked if he doesn't pick ND based on that interview.

Very excited for this kid.

This one will hurt if there's a surprise pick to Vandy. Kids got star potential at a position we're really lacking.

Unless Franklin pulled some black magic that none of us know about it'll be ND. Awesome recruiting job by the staff.
