I know Morgan's supposed to verbal at one of the all-star games, right? But as they say in the SEC, a verbal just tells you who you're competing with. Ole Miss could always come back at him in January.

Of course just like with any other recruit outside of ee's. I feel pretty confident that we already passed Ole Miss up and this just solidifies that. If we get his verbal, I don't think he's one we'll have to worry about. Family loves ND and kid is starting to, it doesn't get much better.

If he doesn't visit, I'm not viewing it as a major red flag.

Reason being, he's reportedly been to ND 3 times on his own dime within the last month. He's probably seen everything he has to in order to make a decision.

It'll be awesome if he does visit, but I wouldn't freak out if he doesn't.

Sure. But nobody else is really after most of our other commits. And at least some of the optimism stems from the canceled in-home, which could be read more as a strategic move than anything. We'll see.
I agree Morgan seems to be someone who's taking the process seriously and is trending our way and if/when he commits isn't likely to flip. I'm just always wary of recruiting against SEC schools, especially the second-tier ones like Ole Miss. They try things we haven't even thought of.

It's not just this update. I'm with Ironman and Keunja on this. It's been going very well since his USC visit. It's recruiting anything can happen but I'm gonna be excited about this until i see otherwise. And the theory that you laid out earlier isn't one of those at this moment

But since December started, 8 guys have made or changed predictions to ND on crystal ball. One of them was Steve Wiltfong.

Additionally, 5 guys made their predictions in a 2 hour window yesterday morning.

I'm not one to read into things, but if that doesn't say it's trending our way in a heavy, heavy fashion then I don't know what does.
