Bigger loss? ND to Bama or Michigan to Bama today
Yeahhhhh.... this loss wasn't an embarrassment on national television....
Bigger loss? ND to Bama or Michigan to Bama today
'Bama's GSR figures are significantly better than UM's, so maybe Hand really does care about academics, skunkbears.
Despite parking all of its players in "General Studies" or "Kinesiology", UM still somehow graduates less than 60% of its African-American athletes. Yet its fans have the nerve to complain about academics? GTFO.
Anyone got a good article that collates all of the Michigan angry tweets? Google is failing me.
Not discounting Bama for Carter or Fournette after them pulling this off
I would rather he go to Michigan........
I would rather he go to Michigan........
I think so too.
Roll Tide!Let me just say Roll Tide!
From a healthy college football point of view, I can't imagine feeling good about Alabama continually loading up its roster with anyone they want. It is imperative that this system that Saban is employing is broken. This is not just a Notre Dame comment, but a college football comment. It's worse than Calipari and Kentucky basketball, or Auriemma and Connecticut Women's basketball.
I absolutely hate Florida State for instance, but I'll be rooting for them to bring this thing down. Even if Alabama was beyond reproach and Saban just that much better a manipulator than everybody else, I could never feel joy about the endless assemblyline going down that tunnel.

However, it turns out off-the-field allure in Tuscaloosa may have ultimately swayed Hand's decision. 247Sports National Recruiting Director**JC Shurburtt reports university and athletic administration gave the coveted playmaker key*academic assurances during discussions and a campus visit.

Heh.
This.

True, but they are a frequent recruiting rival for kids in the Midwest, who are easier to get and keep by virtue of their proximity. If Michigan falls off, it gets a whole lot easier to recruit Chicagoland, for instance. So even if UM is off the schedule, we should still root against them.
But I get the point ... it doesn't make sense to get too happy about Alabama scoring big recruiting victories.

True, but I live in this **** hole mitten state. **** Michigan yesterday. **** Michigan today. **** Michigan tomorrow. **** Michigan forever.
You really have to question what's going on down there. I've always felt something has to be amiss. You can't simply pull in the classes he has year after year without having help in several places. He did well at LSU, but I don't think his classes rivaled what he's doing at Bama.
OMM.......Unfortunately a loss to FSU wouldn't derailed Bama. It would be looked on as simply a bump in the road.
