To be fair, Floyd wasn't reprimanded sternly enough in hindsight. Or perhaps alcoholism can't be treated with punishment. I hope Hand pulls it together and gets his sh!t right. DUIs are a public safety issue and I hope he sees it that way.

Floyd got the same punishment any other student in his shoes would have. That's all I expect.

Hand is a senior, a model student, and looked upon to help lead the DL. With that said, he should be suspended for the opener because as a senior, he should lead by example. Getting a DUI is far from that. Losing out on one game will not end his career... killing someone due to his lack of good judgment would.

Watched a really good documentary about him done by the Washington Post on Amazon Prime (free) called "First and 17." Mike Farrell gets too much air time in it, but it is only an hour and a half and really good.
I knew where he was going the entire time but I kept rooting for him NOT to sign with Michigan regardless.
