The running game is lacking - currently 95th out of 123 teams.

But, the Irish have played against:

Rushing Defense:
#1 - Michigan State
#10 - Michigan
#15 - USC

Also, when a defense is not overly terrified of a passing attack.......

If Kelly focuses on the running game more against AF (a good game to do it as well as keep some pressure off of Rees), and AF is 12th right now in rushing offense, total TV time for this game may only be an hour and a half!!!!!! Well, 2 hours with commercials!!!

Navy and Air Force should cushion are stats in the run game considerably.

I guess that will finally put Notre Dame back on level playing field considering most of the teams have played DII talent and padded their stats.

Bad first drive.

No it was a good first drive one bad play call and the missed Fg were it. But the rest of the drive was good. And I guess it wasn't a bad play call it was an personnel issue.
